It was a windy afternoon by the shore and the docks. The trees were a glistening green, the waves poked the sand ever so gently before being tucked away back where it had come from. The sea creatures were out and about along with a young platinum haired boy, looking around ten years old in age. Why the boy was out and about without any parental supervision was beyond any of the fishermen's concerns. He was just running errands and helping out whenever he could. Always fixing the fishing lines or cutting ropes when needed. If he needed to go out to sea he was always at the bow or the stern of the boat. Today was different, the boy was sitting at the docks like he always did. His messy curly hair proofing out without any restraint from a hairbrush. Today the platinum haired boy prodded with his hands and stared out. Until a fisherman came. "Oi, boy. We need some help over here. Can yer lend a hand?" The young boy hummed a nod before replying with: "Tensuya Idiaboshi, sir. And of course, I can help out." The fisherman gave a gruff chortle, before handing him some of his catch. "Atta be some of our catch from this evein' worth more than ye necklace yer have 'round your neck." The platinum haired boy, Tensuya subconsciously put a hand onto his exposed necklace. The golden pendant glistened against skin and a tunic that was a faded blue.
Tensuya started to help unload the majority of the catch made from the hull of the boat. There were a lot of it today. That would be expected on a day like this- but this time there was much more than expected. "Where you find all these fish?" Tensuya asked, before adding; "I'm just curious... I've never seen so much on one boat." One of the older fishermen shot a grimy glare. "Well, you see lad... there were some sea creatures runnin' from some unbelievable creature. Couldn't tell what it was. But defiantly hadn't seen one 'o them before. Tell ye that much." Tensuya sighed as he continued to help out. It's what he always did. He was good at following orders because he had nothing else to do. He never knew his parents, he was an orphan. If he knew what happened to them or who they were... he might be living a happier life than being stuck by the seashore and by the docks. However there was nothing he could do to change it, the boy just had to go on with his day and finish with the errands given to him by the fishermen and go back to his hideout by the orphanage. Everything continued going swimmingly, just like any other normal day... until a shriek came from the crowd. He couldn't hear what was said, but it made everyone tense... Some even fled onto their boats or homes. Tensuya didn't understand why- how could he? He was only a naive ten year old. So he couldn't have known what was going to happen, what made the older folks on the docks so frightened... until it was too late.
A marvelous ship approached the docks and laughter occurred from the ship's deck. It was loud enough to assume that someone either found a victim or a "grand treasure". "YOHO! Look a' that boys! A fresh kiddo!" A man with a slight lisp exclaimed, eager to see the boy as if he was fish bait. "Then get that kid if ye want to. We might as well need more janitors on the deck" A deeper and aloof voice commanded that was then followed by footsteps. In a second, a few men slid down the ropes and tied the helpless ten year old boy up. "W-wait!" He rasped in fear. "I-I don't-! HEY! Let me go!" Tensuya protested to no avail. A woman from the crew then hushed him with an angered glint in her eyes. "Don't struggle boy." The woman with dark eyes and hair scolded. "Boss would want ya alive! So long as you don't step out of line." A man with black and white hair added with a cruel grin. These were no ordinary people, these were pirates. "Don't worry lil fella, we're not gonna hurt ya! We're just craving for some fresh meat..." One of the men eerily grinned, making the young boy gulp from anxiety. "Pipe down will ye! No need to scare 'em Pip!" A woman with thick curly hair scolded the crewmate, before turning to a man with two toned hair and a woman with dark curly hair. "Irene, Angel. No bickerin' ye hear! Captain Stronghold needs the boy alive. I mean- look at 'at pendent around the lad's neck." Tensuya immediately tried to hide the necklace. Only for one of them to take it out again by the chain. "Where'd you get such a pretty jewel, squirt?" The pirate asked, only to be met with no response; Tensuya bit his tongue. "I... uhm... M-my parents gave it to me." He said simply, yet that seemed to dig his grave more than before. Irene gave him a cold smile, then turned to the woman with the thick curly hair. "Maze, take him to the captain and make sure he doesn't escape. The rest of you take the loot and whatever else we can get!" And with that, it escalated from there. It wasn't long before he was taken into the ship, a ship that was beautifully crafted and decorated with wooden engravings... but now wasn't the time to admire such a work of art. He was being kidnapped by something he had only heard of in stories... This was a nightmare come true.
