IronBlood HQ: Kiel
Inside the heavily militarized port of Kiel and inside a certain office, the lonely figure of Bismarck could be seen seated alone while laying back on her chair. She was looking out toward the sea with a distant look within her eyes as stacks of papers lay atop her desk. 'Why?' She though, over and over as the scene of Arthur defeating Friedrich and telling her to leave whilst leaving her behind repeated over and over.
Her mind shattered and racing with many different questions. But they all end with the same question of 'Why?'. She sighed before looking down at her hands. Her white gloves covered them, she then blinked to see her gloves covered in crimson red blood. All around her was fire, death, and the rotting metal hulls of ships surrounding her.
Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and the blood was gone and she was back within her office. Laying back again, she looks out toward her window as the sound of her office doors opening was heard. "I see you're still sulking over what happened." Came the voice of Eugen as she stepped into the office before stopping before the desk.
She gave a quick glance toward the stacks of untouched papers before looking back toward the unmoving figure of Bismarck. ". . . You need to stop thinking about what happened, you have a duty to your nation."
Bismarck scoffed at Eugen's words.
"Duty? Please, don't make me laugh, my Bruder is severing the enemy because it is his duty. So tell me, how does doing my duty now make it any more different to when he decided to turn his guns against us?" Bismarck said with a mocking tone in her voice.
Silence fell upon the room as neither side made a move. Eugen then sighed before pulling out a document and placing it on the desk. "In any case, Tirpitz reported in about encountering Arthur. She won, but it was only because he was already heavily damaged." Bismarck, turned her chair around to face Eugen.
"Does she have him? Are they both alright?" Eugen sighed again before speaking.
"He's fine, from what the report says. Though your sister lost him after a new maple monarchy battleship took action and took him away." Bismarck looked down in thought, her mind now racing with possible ideas of who beat her sister. Though, all those thoughts were quickly shattered when the next set of words came out of Eugen's mouth. "It's believed that the monarchy has an H-class battleship now."
Looking up at Eugen, Bismarck's eyes showed a look of scepticism before slowly nodding her head.
She then sat back into her chair while turning her chair again to face the window, Bismarck gave a long hard stare as she began to think. "The monarchy is starting to grow yet again, though I'm worried that their next target will be." Eugen remained silent as she watch Bismarck continue to stare out toward the port.
". . . Let's hope this war doesn't escalate more than it already has."
