With This Thought,
I Sat in My Car,
And Drove Off.

After 4 hours of driving I was finally entering the town,

"Half An Hour More", I said to myself,

I passed familiar trees, buildings,houses,
I saw people walk on the side walk,

I finally stopped the car in the driveway,
This time I did not bother to knock the door,
I slammed the.door open,
There was sitting Gemma with a novel in her hand,

"What The... YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME HARRY" She screaming,

"Stop Screaming Gemma, I already had enough of it all my life" I said, in a rough tone,
She stood still after hearing my harsh words,
It was strange, I could not feel anything, I was numb,

I guess this is how I had to payback for my sins,

"Where is Mum" I asked bluntly,
" S..She Is Out" Gem replied.
I could feel she was about to cry, but I couldn't step forward and hug her or comfort her,
All I could feel was NUMB,

" Then, I guess I will wait upstairs, tell her that m here when she's back"
I.said,
Gemma nodded not uttering a word,
I stomped up and slammed the door shut.

I looked at the clock, it was 4,
It's been 3 hours since I have been here and mom is no where to be seen,
I ran hands through my hair and got out of my bed,
I opened the door to my room, all I could see was pitch darkness,
I could manage to see stairs, I carefully steped downstairs,

" MOM GEM" I screamed,
No reply came,
I screamed again,
" MOM GEM, THIS IS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE"
Small beads of sweat formed on my forehead,
I ran hands through my hair again,
I could feel my heartbeat,
"Looking for someone?" said a manly voice, it sounded familiar,
I turned on my heels,
"Who is it?" I managed to say, my voice was cracking,
I couldn't see anyone,
"Who is it?" I asked again, a bit louder,

"You forgot me young boy?" The voice said,

"What do you want?" I asked,
" You thought you can get rid of me.with this ease young boy?" He.said, and started laughing,

" What do you want " I screamed this time,
"You"
This is all he said before stabbing the knife in my chest,

I was shaking when I woke up,
"HARRY HARRY ARE YOU OKAY HARRY" Mom was screaming,
I slowly opened my eyes,
I coughed,
" Uh huh! Yeah, M Fine " I said
" You scared me Harry" Mom said, nearly breathless
" Sorry Mum, It was just a bad dream, I guess " I replied,

There was silence for a few minutes,

"Mum I need to tell you something" I said, breaking the silence,

"Yeah, feel free" Mom said,

"Just promise me you won't react before I finish "
I said and placed my hand on her hands holding them tightly,

" Okay, I promise" Mom replied in a cool tone,

I cleared my throat and began to speak,

Was interrupted by the door bell ringing.
