There once was a boy who walked to the lake every morning at the first sun. One day he met a girl and they became friends and spent every morning going forward together. But at some point she stopped coming to the lake and the boy didn't know what happened but he continued showing up at every sunrise.

One day at the edge of the lake he met a giant, he got scared at first but when the giant noticed him he smiled and asked "What is it that you're looking for boy, I see you here every day?" the boy answered "I seem to have lost a friend, can you help me find her?" the giant eyes filled with sorrow but he answered "Continue coming here every day and you will find what you're looking for" so the boy went back home and the next day he came again. And he continued doing so just as the giant said.

It wasn't until years later that he found out that his childhood friend has drowned in the lake they so very much loved. Angry at the giant for lying to him he went back to the lake and here was the giant, waiting for him "You lied to me!" he screamed at the giant "I did not, you will find her when you're ready" and the now young man sat down and cried but he long for his friend so much that he did once again what he was told.

When he got old and couldn't walk like in the old days he said to himself "This is going to be the last time my friend" and so he went to the lake at sunrise and once again the giant was waiting for him "You are ready now" he said and gestured to the lake and the man knew right away that she was waiting for him. So we walked to the edge of the lake and turned to the giant "Thank you, old friend" and moments later, in the beautiful morning sun there no longer was a man but a cloud of mist gently enveloping the lake and since that day it was like that every morning, the lake and the mist dancing together in the rising sun.
