Glow Up

I walked into my bedroom after showering and changing.

I looked at the large bookshelf beside the closet door. I turned my head and walked up to it.

I removed one of the many wrapped books

"Oddinary" the weird book read, it sounds familiar though...

"Odd...inary?" I mumbled and began to unwrap it.  as a knock hit the door I jumped and placed down the album, I turned to the door "Coming!!"

I unlocked the door and opened it

"Hello, I am your new maid.. Marceline" she bowed

A foreigner

I bowed back "Hello,"

she held a basket. "I finished your clothes," she spoke up as she walked past me to the closet

she began to hang them up.

I took out my phone and googled the somewhat familiar name

Stray Kids.. right.. their album came out a few months ago

I finished opening the album

"You're a-"

"Raebin" a man spoke up, I turned
"I am taking you and your father to get cleaned up tomorrow, get ready early" he smiled, I bowed

"You should get some rest" she grabbed something out of her pocket, "He told me to give you this too" Marceline handed me a box then left with her basket

"A new phone..?" I mumbled and opened it

I gasped and looked at it

My first ever iPhone...

I set it up before sleeping.

I changed then headed out with the man and my father

"Here we are.." he mumbled as we walked into a salon/nail place. He walked in with me

"I'm here for the special, Nails done, hair done, all the way she wants"

"Okay come with me" she said, I followed her

"So.. what hairstyle were you looking for?"
"Maybe... Shoulder length and some bangs" I looked up at her "also maybe a dye to a lighter brown?"

"You got it!" she smiled as she took out her tools

"I'll be back soon" the man patted my arms. I nodded.

I looked at my nails

"Would you like fake nails? maybe a clean-up?" she asked,

I thought for a bit..

"A clean up and some light nail polish.. Maybe?" I mumbled

after this all happened the man brought me to a school.

"Lee Raebin" I looked up at the principal. He nodded

"Lee...Rae...bin" he mumbled as he typed.

"Hm.. okay" he smiled "here you go" he handed me the school outfit and a nametag

"Where are you from?"
"America" the man spoke up, the principal nodded "Well, welcome. Your Korean is perfect"

"Th-Thanks" I smiled

"Alright then... I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yes sir" the man bowed, I bowed and followed the man back to the car

"Your grandfather is working so I'm going to take you home" he smiled, I nodded as I looked at my bags of new clothes and school clothes.

I put on my clean new white sneakers and grabbed my bookbag. I did light makeup quickly then I grabbed my lunch the maid packed me then hurried to school

"Oh my god."  people mumbled as I walked into the classroom
"This is the new classmate, please introduce yourself"

I nodded and bowed "Hello, my name is Lee Raebin" I smiled "I'm glad to be your classmate"

"Sit next to Chaeyoung please, Chaeyoung raise your hand"

I walked toward her seat

"Hey!" Chaeyoung smiled "You're really pretty!" I smiled "Thank you!"
I turned and noticed everyone was staring at me

"Guys come on" The teacher spoke up

I smiled at everyone awkwardly, they turned due to the teachers request
