I was 16 and Alfie was 17 , we heard that the forest near us was haunted and also there has been around what 6 murders there so we decided to go to the forest to explore . When we got there it was 17:45pm the sun was going to set at 19:26pm so we have around 2 hour or more so we went in the forest to find we're we were going to put camp .
After an hour of walking we found we're we were going to put camp it looked like this

We put the tent up and got are selfs settled i could feel my body start to tense up as I got anxious. Alfie hugged me and asked if i was alright all I answered with was I'm alright I just feel anxious. Alfie said it will be alright and that it was probably a myth .
We sat there for a few more minutes and now it was 19:20pm so the sun was starting to set a bit ,the more the sun went down the higher my anxiety went up . We got out the tent to get the fire set up . I tried my best to stay as close as I could possible be to Alfie as I was trembling. Alfie told at one point to go back the tent if I was worried. I said alright and went to the tent .
As I was unzipping the tent I herd a high pitched girl scream further into the forest I was thinking about what that could be and my anxiety got worse . When I unzipped the tent fully I feel back onto the floor . I shut my eyes for a second and when I opened them again it was gone I felt a pair of hand slowly picking me up I screamed until I noticed it was Alfie he asked what happend .
I told Him I saw a shadow in tent it looked like it was about to go to sleep at this point I have tears in my eyes hoping all this is just a nightmare . At that point it was around 20:13pm so it was now pitch black outside . we were sitting in the tent close by each other as I was still trembling and crying about what I saw earlier Alfie grabbed a bag sweets and started to make me laugh so I would forget about earlier. In the morning after I had around 3 hours sleep we went home and watched the news we later found out some random girl and friends were murder in that forest and that the man found are tent but he was arrested before he could touch us .
