Shadow was abandoned as an egg and when he hatched he wailed for help. He was rescued by a Jolteon named Yellow, who raised him as his son. Shadow was very happy growing up with Yellow and enjoyed many happy years with him. But then, there was a war and Yellow was forced to go in the army. After he left, Shadow waited and waited for him, but he never came. Many years later, Violet, Coral, Lance, Pyro, Leafblade, and Frost found him after his den collapsed due to an avalanche. Shadow, having no choice, came to live with Violet and the others. The moment he met Pearl, he knew he liked her. She liked him, too. The two became mates and had Pearl's first litter Brownie and Ruby; two girls. Shadow didn't like his kits much, but that's okay... I guess.
