𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐒𝐊 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 - but right now she wasn't opposed, especially after the incident that happened a few hours prior. She took a deep breath, her mind being taken over in a flashback.
The night was cold when it happened. The men came quick, fast, thieves in the night. Though they were not after artifacts or money, those things were useless to these men . . For they had their eyes set on stealing something much more valuable. Life. These violent creatures were not werewolves like them, it wasn't something for territory. They also weren't cold ones - no they were worse. They were human, and they did what they do best. They destroyed.
"Mom!" Johanna cried out in agonizing pain as she watched the life drain from her mother's eyes-it was Jack Farrow's fearful voice that pulled her out of her shocked state.
"Jo we have to go," he cried out, pulling on her arm fearfully. "Jo they're coming-!"
With guns and silver bullets they came, and under the moonlight they destroyed the Farrow pack. It took most of the pack's deaths to convince Arden to fall back. But the alpha was broken, only five members of the pack remained, and only two, including Arden himself, were adults. But there was no time for mourning, because those men were still after them. He didn't know how they knew of them, or who sent them, but he did know someone who could help.
Young Jack's voice drowned out, and the flashback disappeared when another voice drew her out of her trance like state. "We're here" Arden Farrow spoke, putting the truck into park.
Johanna looked at the cabin they pulled into. It was difficult to see every little detail since it was pitch black outside. A small flickering porch light with little bugs flying around it was the only source of light. It was a wooden house from what Johanna could see, and it seemed a little overgrown in places. It was fairly small for a pack house she thought, it would definitely be crowded-which was something Johanna definitely hated but she couldn't let herself be picky about this. It's not like she could be picky, they had absolutely nothing anymore.
