Chapter One; Robbed

Josh's POV:
We were trying to get on a flight back to Australia after spending two weeks in America but ours got canceled. There was another flight to another airport further away from mine and Mullys houses about another hour and a half. Me and Mully not wanting to go through the saying goodbye prosses again decided to just do it. We were soon on the way to Australia and after a very long flight we made it. Mully had his car driven to the airport not wanting to take a three almost four hour Uber ride. We got in his car and started driving. I wasn't going to say anything but honestly I was stressed and had a small headache coming on. Plane's really stress me out I hate being stuck in a place with strangers for hours upon end. The goodbye mixed with the plane and just being tired from all the fun in America just drained me. Mully was very talkative as soon as we got in the car. I looked at the stars out my window sometimes trees getting in the way. I was deep in thought when I felt Mully's hand on my shoulder, I jumped and looked over at mully. He had a smirk on his face half focused on me half focused on the road. "Are you falling asleep?" He said smirking. "Nah im just thinking." I said trying to seem awake. "You better not be you should be keeping me awake not the other way around." Mully said chuckling. "Yeah yeah" I say smiling and sitting up. "How a far away are we?" I ask "About two hours." He says and I sigh. "Let's stop at a gas station I need to pee." I say rubbing my eyes. "Now that you say something I do too. "Mully said looking at his phone with directions pulled up. "We are coming up to one in ten minutes. You think you can hold it?" He said. "Yeah." I say getting on my phone.

Mully's POV:
It was around midnight and I was really tired despite having slept quite a bit on the plane. Josh was dozing off again as I pulled up to the gas station. "Joshhhhh." I say unbuckling my seat belt and he sits up groaning. "Aww is little Joshy sleepy?" I say trying to keep my energy up. "Yeah I'm exhausted." He responded "Yeah I feel you on that." I say back. I get out of the car and head inside to the bathroom Josh walking in with me. He heads straight to the bathroom and I take a look around for snacks and energy drinks. I get to the counter to pay and Josh walks out of the bathroom. "Hey go ahead and pick out what you want and I'll pay when I get out." I say and Josh says ok. After using the bathroom I walk out seeing Josh set his stuff on the counter, I pay and head out to the car. I start pumping the gas when I hear Josh "Hey I'll drive." Josh says opening his hands like he was ready to catch something. "You sure? Your pretty tired." I ask and Josh rolled his eyes. "Yeah I'm fucking sure." He says with a joking smirk. I toss my keys to him and finish pumping the gas. I walk to the other side and get in. We start driving and Josh takes a sip of his monster to help keep himself awake. We are listening to loud music and Josh is singing along as I feel myself start to drift off. I fall asleep smiling to myself while listening to Josh's voice. I wake up to Josh shaking me I make a "Hmm?" Sound and I hear Josh start to laugh. "I've been trying to wake you up." He says still laughing. "Come on you can sleep here tonight." He says as I get out of the car half awake. I say something but I don't even know what I was trying to say. Me and Josh head inside and I plop on the couch Josh shuts and locks the door then heads straight to his room. I got up find a blanket and practically pass out as soon as I hit the couch.

Josh's POV:
I woke up and after a few minutes of laying there I checked my phone. It was 11:34am I got up and took a shower. I walk out to see Mully sitting on the couch with a freshly made cup of coffee looking like he just woke up. I made a cup of coffee and ruffled Mully's bed head somehow making it worse. I smirked to myself thinking about how cute he was when he just woke up. CUTE?! Cute is definitely NOT the word to use when thinking about my best friend. Mully was.... ok looking?? Well that definitely doesn't feel right. But it has to do. It's the only appropriate word to use. I sat down next to Mully and took a sip of my coffee. "You look like shit." I say jokingly with a small chuckling. "You don't look much better." He replied also joking. "At least I smell better." I say laughing. "Fuck off." He says laughing with me. "You want to go get some breakfast?" I ask he nods and says why not. We went out for brunch and he dropped me off at my house. He left and I went inside. I sat on the couch with my cat I started watching a movie before I get a call from Mully. I answer the phone confused "Hey whats up?" I ask.

3rd POV:

Josh: "Hey what's up?" Josh asks confused.

Mully: "I GOT FUCKING ROBBED!"

Josh: "Hey stop yelling! Did you call the cops?"

Mully: "Well of course I did I'm waiting on them right now. But they stole all my equipment!"

Josh: "Talk to the cops you can stay with me if you need to I have some extra stuff you can use I'd have to dig it out."

Mully: "Thanks Josh and I'll pick some stuff up too."

Josh: "No problem mate. Will you be staying here?"

Mully: "Well if it's alright with you."

Josh: "Yeah it's fine I'll set up a bed room."

Mully: "Thanks I'll call you back later."

Josh: "Alright bye."

Mully: "Bye."

Josh's POV:
I sigh after hanging up. I really wanted to have a chill day but guess that's down the drain. It might be nice to have another person in this otherwise very quiet house. I get up having already paused my movie and headed into a room I used as storage. I started moving boxes into closets and set a few to the side knowing I'm going to need them. Finally after a while I was left with a mostly empty room with a desk and a bunch of pieces to a metal bed frame. I started trying to put it together not getting very far before I got a call from Mully.
