"I am there to hold your hand, till the very end,I promise",she said to him as she continued rubbing his back then calm him down.
"Inhale..1..2..3..4.., hold..1..2..3..4..5..6..7.., exhale..1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8.."she said and he tried to follow the pattern.

"Calm down honey, you are completely fine",she said a yes she cupped his face.

He looked at her, trying to find the peace in his happy place. He kept looking at her as he tried to breathe slowly. She kept looking at him and assuring him that he's fine and safe in her hug. He relaxed after sometime, but the shivering still continued.

"Let's put you to bed, you need rest sweetheart",she said holding his hand firmly in hers.
"Help kardo, I feel drained out",he said resting his head on her shoulder.

"Haann jaanna, carefully",she said as he made him stand and put him to bed.

She put the duvet on him, and sat by him, patting his head.
He slowly moved and shifted his head from the pillow to her lap.
She passed him a smile to which he replied with a faint one.

"Ab aap theek ho jaanna?",she asked.
"I guess",he said taking her hand in his.

"Kyaa hua thaa Kartik, panic attack Kyuu aaya tumko?",she asked and he looked in her eyes.
"Naira, I don't know, kuchh baat hai jo mujhe boht affect kar rahi hai, lekin i am not able to figure out.. I just feel numb.. emotions hi feel nai hote.."he said trying hard to hold his tears back.
"Jaanna, you'll be fine, relax",she said softly, caressing his hair.

Kartik snuggled into her, and after sometime, the shivering stopped and he felt asleep due to weakness and fatigue.
"Kartik ko itne saalo baad firse panic attack kaise aaya, uske depression ka treatment, recovery sab accha chal raha thaa, kyaa baat hogi jo fir uske depression ko trigger kar rahi hai", Naira thought.

"Nairaa dii",said Mishti chirped as she entered into KaIra room.
"Shh",Naira signed towards a sleeping Kartik.
Mishti comes to Naira slowly and hugs her.
"Kaisa raha aapka farewell babygirl?",Naira asked her after kissing her forehead.

"Boht accha thaa dii, aapko pata hai, after party mei bhi hum sabne boht enjoy kiya",Mishti said happily.
"Very nicee! Acchaa princess, aap thodi der wait karoge, for hum sab saath mei neeche chalte hai", Naira told to her.

"Haan dii, par bhai ko kyaa hua, woh abhi Kyuu so rahe hai?",Mishti asked back.
"Woh.. Kartik ko firse panic attack aaya thaa, toh ab thoda rest kar raha hai",Naira said softly caressing his hair.
"Ooo",she replied dull-ly.

"Its okkay princess, he is fine, trust me",Naira said it as she tried to convince Mishti and herself.
"Dii, apne toh kahaa thaa nah Bhai theek hain ab",Mishti said, still being sad.

"Haann babygirl, mujhe bhi nai samajh aaya kyu hua aisa.. but hum dono hai nah aapke bhai ke saath, hum unhei theek kar denge",Naira said to Mishti smilingly, cupping her face.
"Hum dono nai, hum teeno, aapka yeh baby bhi toh hai",she said keeping her hand on Naira's slightly-grown baby bump.
"Haann Mishti",Naira replied smilingly.

Mishti then went to change and Naira was caressing Kartik's hair.
Naira thought to herself-"Common Dr. Naira, tumhare Kartik ko tumhei theek karna hi hoga".

Flashback-

"I am so happy Naira, aaj finally mei tumhei shaadi ke liye pucchunga.. I hope tum haa kahogi, I can't wait for us to come together mera sugarcup..",Kartik thought to himself and smiled.

"Kartik, kyaa soche jaa rahe ho, mere birthday dinner pe bhi tumhara dhyaan kahi aur hi hai, kyaa hua janna?",Naira asked softly, caressing the back of his hand.

"Kuchh nai Naira, humari puri family yahaa hai, hum dono saath hai, mishti khush hai, aur kya chaiye mujhe", Kartik said, deeply looking into her eyes.

"I love it when you say humari family",Naira smiled, genuinely.
"Galat kya hai, meri family mei hai hi kaun, sirf tum aur mishti, lekin tumhare parents ke saath, dada dadu ke sath, mujhe bhi apna saa feel hota hai",Kartik said.

Naira smiled, and fed him a bite.

"Chalo khaao janna!",Naira told him to focus on eating.

"Yes queen, waise, dinner ke baad kya mei meri queen ke saath, thodu saa, romantic walk pe jaa sakta hu?", Kartik asked.
"Yeh apki jo queen hai, woh apne papa ki princess bhi hai, unse pucch ke kehti hu",she said jokingly.
"Sasurji ko toh mei sambhal lunga",he said, proudly.
"Zyaada damaad matt bano tum",naira said jokingly.

"Bachho pehle khaana khaa lo, fir kar lena baatei",Akshara said and both, kartik and naira, nodded like good kids and started eating.

After sometime, Kartik and Naira are walking on a deserted road. Naira had comfortably snaked her hands around Kartik's hand and rested her head on his well-built shoulder. They were at peace, with each other.

"I love you so much",she kissed her bicep while he smiled.
"I love you too sugarcup",Kartik said kissing her hair.

"Waise, tumhare liye ek surprise hai",Kartik told and Naira looked at him excitedly. He blindfolded her and carefully took her ahead, to the location.

It was outside of some hospital. He opened the blindfold and said, "yeh woh jagah hai, jahaa mei paida hua thaa, and maa kehti thii ki tab bhi khul ke nai roya thaa, bass thode se aasu, thodi si hasi, aur chup. Shayad bachpan se hi baat samjhana nai aata mujhe"

Naira was looking at him confusingly while he just held her hand and took her along with her at a little distance.

"Yeh Mera pehla ghar naira.. papa ne yehi mujhe aur maa ko nikaal diya thaa, jab maa mishti ke saath 5 mahine pregnant thii, par iske alawa bhi aur kai saari yaadei hai, subeh uthkar seedha kitchen mei jaana, maa ke paas, aur kai baar toh maa-papa ko romance karte bhi pakda hai, dadi ki daat, papa ke saath ghoda ghoda, maa ki woh lori.. aaj bhi mann ko shant karti hai, aur is ghar ke bass thode se dur mera school thaa naira.. jaanti ho, ab woh school toot gaya hai, lekin uske bahaar jo gola wala baithta thaa nah, woh aaj bhi aata hai, tum chalogi?",kartik asked.

Naira just nodded, seeing her Kartik being so expressive, for the first time in two years of knowing each other.

They reached there and ate gola together. They felt like they have been together, from the start, till the very end.

After they were done, Kartik said, "Chalo, tumhei meri do sabse favourite jagah le jaata hu!"

Naira nodded and held his arm. He smiled and they went together. First, was a park.

He stopped at the outside and said, "jab zindagi ke sawaal samajh nai aate nah, tab jawaab dhundhne yahaa aata thaa, par tumhei pata hai, abhi zindagi kitne bhi sawaal karle, yahaa nai aana padta, mere saare jawaab tum mei hai naira! You solve my life!"

Naira was getting teary-eyed. Kartik rubbed her eyes, and tied the blindfold again.

"Aao, sambhalke",Kartik said and took her to the location.

"Abhi aankhe nai kholna, pehle mujhe tumse kuchh kehna hai. Yeh jagah naira.. boht ajeeb hai yeh jagah, kuchh log yahaa se janam bhar ki khushiya apne saath le jaate hai, aur kuchh log yahaa apna sab kuchh kho jaate hai.. mei jab yahaa pehli baar aaya thaa nah, khone ke liye kuchh thaa hi nai, haa par mujhe yeh bhi nai pata thaa ki yahaa se bahaar nikalte nikalte mujhe mera sabkuch mil jaayega.. yeh jagah naira.. pehli baar mulaqat hui thii meri kisi khaas se, itni khaas ki aaj bhi khud ki jaan se zyaada uski jaan ki parwah karta hu, aur zindagi bhar karna chahta hu!
Tum kehti ho nah, mei zyaada expressive nai hu, baatei share nai karta, meri life ko khol ke rakh diya tumhare saamne! So ms. naira naitik singhania, meri angel, meri queen, mera sugarcup, kyaa tum mrs. naira kartik goenka banne ke liye taiyaar ho?"

He said and she opened her blindfold. She was teary eyed, and numb. She took time to process that they were at the outside of the hospital where she works, where they first met.

She understood the meaning of his every word. She wanted to say a yes, and jump into her arms, but her throat dried. Overwhelmed, she just nodded a yes to Kartik and hugged him tight. "I love you Kartik",she said, while resting her head closely on his chest. He whispered an I love you too and kissed her forehead.
"Mei tumse boht pyaar karti hu Kartik, you have my...",she was about to say, when Kartik said - "Mr.Goenka.."
