The Contract : It wasn't meant to be like this

Chapter 1 - The Beginning : Where it all started

I was walking down the hallway of our university when my best friend Lily called out to me causing me to stop in my tracks and look back "Sophie, where's your boyfriend? I mean why are you alone and not with him today?" Lily said. I replied, "He said that he and his teammates have a basketball competition next week with the rival school so he must be in the court rn practicing." "Then shall we go cheer you boyfie in his practice?" Lily asked and I agreed so we went to the basketball court to cheer my boyfriend. When we entered the court we saw that they were taking a break so we approached my boyfriend and I gave him a water bottle when he asked "Babe, what are you doing here?" "Oh, me and Lily came to cheer your team's practice" I replied. "Anyways Oliver, don't forget to treat us when you win the game because if you win then it will be thanks to our cheers" Lily said to Oliver a.k.a my boyfriend, Oliver with a slight smile replied "Of course, how could I not treat you girls?" and then we kept on talking and blabbering nonsense when their coach told them to get back to their positions as their break was over and we wished a good luck and went for our classes.

*Day of the competition*
Our school won the game and we all cheered but then I realized that Lily and Oliver was missing so I went to search for them but then I saw something which I shouldn't have and that's I found my boyfriend cheating on me with my best friend I was speechless because of the sight in front of me and I couldn't bring myself to even call out their names I was about to leave the place but then Lily noticed me and called out for me "Oh Sophie, so you saw it? Then I guess there's no need to hide anything anymore. Right baby?" Oliver replied "That's right honey, anyways Sophie I never actually liked you I just pretended to like you so that I can get close to Lily" I just couldn't mutter a single word because of the shock when suddenly Oliver came up to me and pinned me against the locker and said "You're so dumb for actually thinking that I'll like someone like you. Tchhh pathetic bvtch." Then i felt my tears coming out of my eyes when Lily said "Awww isn't it the loser who's crying rn?" and then laughed and I just lowered my head because I didn't wanted to show them my pathetic looking ugly crying face and when suddenly I felt someone grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of there after a while he letter my wrist go but I still didn't knew who he was as my head was still cowered, then he suddenly gave me a handkerchief and said "Tchh here wipe your tears with this I'd rather see you getting annoyed when I tease rather than seeing you cry because of those worthless people" the voice felt oddly familiar and I looked up to see Noah or should I say my bully...
