All for Us

Chapter 2

"Nate and I are officially over, I can't deal with him anymore" Maddy shouted as she walked with Cassie, Barbra and I to Biology class. 

"You've said that before" Cassie replied rolling her eyes. "No seriously, I'm done. I can't even believe that I trusted him for so long" Maddy said. "Besides I think I fucked that guy I was in the pool with, I don't know I blacked out" "What?" I gasped. "Maddy" Cassie said staring directly at her. Suddenly Kat approached us with the biggest grin on her face.

"Congratulations bitch" Maddy exclaimed. "Thanks" Kat grinned, "Tell us everything how did it happen?" I asked excitedly, "It just did, one thing led to another and I'm just glad it's over and no one can ever call me a virgin again". We all giggled and walked holding hands. 

After Biology I stood at my locker grabbing my books for my next class. Suddenly I noticed someone lean up against my locker, it was Nate. "Can I help you?" I asked staring directly into his big brown eyes. "Yes actually you could... who was that guy Maddy was with the other night" Nate said abruptly, "I don't know I think his name is like Tyler or something. Does it matter? You two are broken up." I groaned rolling my eyes. 

"Isla, I'm just looking out for her" he smirked "I don't want to see my ex- girlfriend get hurt". "She was intoxicated, I don't believe she would have been capable to have sex with him regardless" I said holding his gaze. I suddenly noticed his face change into an envious and annoyed look, he looked to the side in disbelief. "You know just because you're her best friend doesn't mean that you get to condone her actions. You've known me for just as long and I always felt we had something special" he said putting his hand on my shoulder. 

I couldn't believe what was coming out of his mouth, him and I something special? I strongly disliked Nate and I was so glad that Maddy hooked up with Tyler to get away from this asswipe. "I have History class, I'll see you later Nate" I said brushing beside him and walking away. 

The day went over extremely quickly and it was time for Cheer. Maddy, Cassie and I were all Cheerleaders on the East Highland Blackhawks squad. Our team flooded the cafeteria and we all started dancing as Cheer captain I was always in the front of the squad. The football players also cheered us on as we were dancing, Nate was the quarterback of the football team. I noticed him lock eyes with Maddy as she was dancing, he then suddenly glanced at me and I looked away. 

After school Cassie, Maddy, Barbra and I walked on the basketball courts to my car, giggling and laughing over the day. "Yo Maddy" a voice called out, it was Nate. "What?" she replied, McKay was also standing there waiting for Cassie. "Let me take you out tonight" he shouted, "Why?" he shrugged his shoulders. "I hate you" she giggled and flicked her hair. I looked at her intently and she wandered off. 

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I snapped at him. "I'm taking my girl out what does it look like I'm doing" he asked shrugging his shoulders "You're girl? I'm sure she would like to know that apparently you have something special with me." He looked at me and got into his truck.
