-* Lunch *-
James' POV

I walk into Washingtons office, he looks concerned.

"Son, sit," I walk over, and I sit down.

"No lunch?"

"No, sir," I look down.

"Why?"

"I'm not hungry."

"That's what you always say, James." If my Father saw that I gained any weight, he'd be pissed, but I can't say that.

"I know, and I'm not hungry." The only thing I haven't told Washington was about my Father, and Thomas. I don't think I will ever tell Washington about my Father. I hope.

"What's going on at home?"

Shit.

"Nothing, home is great," I hope I'm convincing, but I am a terrible liar.

"I don't believe you, tell me... what happens at your home?"

"Just my Dad," Is this where everything unfolds? Is this where Washington knows the truth?

"Why're you asking me this?" I speak again.

"You're bruised, Son. You've been using foundation, because I've seen you apply it. You're Father did that, huh." He figured it out on his own, I didn't even have to tell him.

"You're going to stay with me," He says.

"Excuse me?"

"I said you're going to stay with me, I'll settle it with your parents over the phone. You and Alex will share a room."

"Alex is going to hate me, in fact— he already does."

———————————-——————————————

( Just for a better plot, Martha wont be taking place, thought I'd say it )

———————————-——————————————
"I do have other rooms, but I know you are bothered with nightmares, and can't be alone. I've already told Alexander to work on a friendship with you."

"Fine, alright."

"In fact, I should call him in right now."

"Right now?"

"Yes," He picked up the phone, dialed something, and soon enough Alexander was in his office as well.

"Hey Fath— Why is Madison here?" Alexander looked at me.

"He's... going to be living with me and you," Alexander's eyes widened.

"No, no... what?..." Alexander said.

"I know it's a pain, but Madison needs friends, and you've got a nice group."

I sat there and watched.

".. Yes, Sir."

"Take Madison to go sit at your lunch table."

"Yes, Sir."

Alex brings me down the hall, but Thomas is there, and gets in front of me, while Alex watches, curious as to what might happen.

"Awake, I see. Why are you following him?" Thomas says.

"None of your business," I really didn't wanna deal with him.

"Y'know, you shouldn't mess around with Hamilton, he's a pain."

"Who're you to give me advice?"

"Just saying, he's got some temper problems." Alex's hands curled into fists.

"Okay, cool," I wasn't amused.

"Fine, be friends with him. I'm just warning you. Cya, shortie," He walked off.

Soon, we got to his table. Everyone looked at me, and it made me very uncomfortable.

"I should go.." I said, stuttering.

"Wait, you're James!" A boy said in a french accent.

"Yeah uh, bye."

"No, stay!" A fluffy haired boy said, and stood up, walking towards me.

"Mm... sorry, no thank you." I walked off, leaving the rest confused. There was one dude who looked freakishly similar to me... weird.

-* Thomas' POV *-

I don't want James being around Alex, I don't want him making friends. I mainly want him to myself. I love James, but I hate him. He's so adorable, but so annoying. Why do I feel like this? Maybe I should be nice to him. Maybe I should be friends with him.

After school, I approach him.

"Hey, James."

He scoffed,
"What do you want?"

"To talk, I feel bad."

"I don't care how you feel. You can't take back anything you've ever done to me."

"Look, I'm sorry dude."

"No, you're not! I have like, 100 problems, you and my Father are 99 of them."

"What? What do you mean your Father?"

"Bye, Thomas."

"No- James, wait."

He flipped me off and walked away. I've never seen him gain an attitude like that. It's... cute.

No, Thomas, don't think like that. You can't be in love with him. You're not gay, you like women! Even if you were gay, why would you fall in love with somebody like Madison? He's a hopeless case. But... the way he does his hair, his curls look so soft... like i could play with his hair all day, everyday. Agh, Thomas! Just don't ... bother him. But isn't that the only way to gain his attention?

I sigh. Maybe I'm the hopeless one.

- * TIME SKIP, YEARS LATER. THEY ARE GOING INTO PRINCETON * -
       James' POV
"Look at you two, grown, and I'll still be able to teach you, I mean, I'm head in Princeton too. Who else is gonna keep you kids in-line? Alex, you've grown! And Madison- you've- stayed your size but that's okay!"

I look up at Washington.

"Uh-huh"

Me and Alex still barely got along, even after all the years.

"You both got your phones?"

We nodded.

"If anything happens, keep in touch."

We nodded once more.

"Or just... come down to my office."

We nodded... once again. Soon, we left, and arrived at this big place, I looked up at it in awe. I make my way inside, collect my key, and to the 4th floor.

858..

I walked, and walked, and eventually.

858, right there.

I insert my key, and twist it, opening the door, just to see someone with fluffy hair, and a magenta hoodie. Wait. That's not just a person. That's...

THOMAS JEFFERSON?
