(2 weeks later)

I've completed depleted all my money expect for 5 dollars, because I had been paying for a motel for me and Westin.
The streets was no place for a small baby and my little bitty self. But now I think I have to go back.
I probably could go get something from ihop for cheap so that's what I was doing.
This pretty much was my routine for the pass two weeks, I got to know the older lady who waited on me the first time I was there.
Her name was Anne, I told her my situation the other because she caught me crying in the bathroom.
I didn't want anyone feeling bad for me, like my horrible parents said I put myself in this predicament.
I walked in dragging my things, I wish I could've celebrated Westin turning one month but I couldn't.
"Hey baby I'm glad you came here today." Mrs. Anne said.
I smiled slightly," Hi, yeah only option I had, plus I'm a little hungry."
"Well I'll get you something it's on me and while you eat I'll come sit with you take little Westin off you hands."
I nodded sitting in my same booth I always do.
She did just what she said she would. I handed her Westin, it crazy this randomly lady gave Westin more love than my parents ever did. They never even held him.
I ate quietly, silently thinking about the jobs I applied for hoping they'd call me back.
"Okay so you know I know you situation, and I can't just let a baby with baby go back to the streets it's just not in me." She said playing with Westin pacifier.
"Oh mrs. Anne I promise I'm okay I'll figure it out I got a few jobs lined u-"
"Baby hush and listen, it's not much but I found a women and children homeless shelter and got you and Westin on the list."
"I-I really don't know what to say, thank you so much." I said getting up walking to her side of the booth hugging her.
"Baby it's nothing, after you eat I'll drive y'all over there, they said since Westin was as young as he is they gave y'all the private room."
I smiled I was so thankful for this angle god sent me.
"Oh my thank you." I felt tears streaming down my face.
"They did say you do need get a job but during the day they have a baby center where the kids are watched free of charge, I really wanted you somewhere safe." She said bouncing Westin.
I was so overwhelmed, it's like god wrapped his arms around me and my baby and held us tight and kept us safe.
Once I finished up we settled into Mrs. Anne car and she drove us to the homeless shelter.
We got checked in, and they explained the rules they where pretty easy nothing I would ever break or do. I never jeopardize something like this.
Westin and I settled in my private room, I made sure he was sleep before going to bathroom down the hall and showering.
I came back and grabbed my phone checking my email. I saw an email for McDonald's saying I had an interview tomorrow at 10:30.
"Thank you god." I said silently so I wouldn't wake my little man up.
(That morning, 8:30 a.m.)
I had got Westin ready and took him to the baby center so I could make my way to this interview on time.
I had to because the bus cost 7 dollars and I only had 5, good thing the McDonald's I have a interview at wasn't that far.
I plugged in my headphone and played DFUM by Ella Mai, music was my escape in all of this bullshit.
In no time after going through my playlist, I was finally there actually ahead of time.
It was 8:59 on the dot. I walked up to the counter.
"Welcome to McDonald's, what can I get for you today." A younger looking girl asked.
"Oh I'm here a little early but I have a interview at 10:30." I said.
"Oh okay lemme go get the manager, you can just go sit where ever you wanted." She said walking to the back.
I wanted to check on my baby so I pulled out my phone quickly texting the number they gave so I could do just that.
They sent me a picture of westin smiling with his gummy smile and I smiled putting my phone away.
"Good you came super early, so we going to get straight into, and imma short and sweet."
"We pretty much looking for someone who scheduled is free because we really need workers right now and someone who willing to start as soon as possible."
I thought I'm free with the free daycare services and me basically being forced to drop out of highschool I was definitely free.
"I'm free, I could start now." I said eagerly.
She laughed and said," okay that's the kind of
attitude I need, you're hired, but we can start you tomorrow cause I have get your paperwork done and somebody to train you."
I nodded and said,"okay thank you so much you won't regret this, what time do I need to be here tomorrow."
"Just get here by 9:30, no later than 10:00." She said.
I nodded and walked out after talking with her for about 10 more minutes.

Short and sweet chapter I had to do fillers but I just jumped the story. Next chapter imma do a time skip and we gone get into it.
