I woke up the nest day to light spilling into the room via the thin 1960's style lace curtains. I groaned when I looked at the clock. It read 5:48 am, I got up and stretched as I walked across the cold wooden floor. I flung open the cupboard doors to find nothing but a old tin of peas and there was nothing in the yellowing fridge.

I quickly got changed into white skinny jeans, over sized black tee and shoved my hair into a messy bun. I never wore make up, nor did I own any so I just washed my face. I pulled on a jumper and my black millitary boots and walked out of the flat with my keys, wallet and old nokia mobile.

As I creaked down the stairs I heard snoring from the open door, I peeked in only to find my landlady fast asleep on the sofa. I quickly turned around and headed out of the front door, carefully pulling it to as I left. I hadn't bought a car or anything yet so I once again treked out into London.

"God, I need a coffee" I thought as I walked slowly down the street. I quickly searched out the nearest starbucks and joined the ever growing line. I bought a black coffee and strode out on to the street.
