"Jungkook slow you're pacing. It's outpacing mine," Namjoon ordered. Immediately the younger stopped what he was doing and stood still as a statue.

Yoongi was staring at the ceiling while Jimin and Taehyung had been staring at the walls in front of them, deep in whatever murky puddle their minds were stuck in.

"Guys I know we really don't feel like performing right now...but we have to go out there for ARMY," Namjoon announced to the group of braindead boys.

The truth was, each of their soulmates were on their mind. By the time they all had turned 21 they had all had one soulmate. They had prepared themselves for the worst and for the first year they were in nonstop search for their special person.

Years had passed for each of them and along the way they lost hope. For Jungkook it hadn't been long but seeing his Hyungs this way had taken a toll on him.

At the 6 year mark for Jin, he fully lost any bit of hope in him. He had turned to the distressing thoughts that his soulmate didn't want him. Not even considering the thought maybe she wasn't 21 yet.

The thoughts led to the coming of his suicidal mind. He began to leave tiny cuts on the areas of his body that couldn't be seen by the many flashing lights and cameras his occupation brought him.

He wasn't the only one struggling silently though. Yoongi, not far behind Jin had held on quite long. As long as possible in fact. Until he started to dream the thoughts. He became a night owl, not wanting to go to bed because that was when he was overcome by anxiety. He, like Jin, fell into being suicidal. However he took it differently. As Jin only cut away the pain, Yoongi had tried countless times to end his life.

All stopped thankfully by his younger members who had not yet lost their trust in the soulmate bond.

Soon Hoseok fell into depression. His mind always set on their soulmate and where she could be had taken over his mind. He danced the days away, trying anything to keep his mind off her but nothing was working.

Namjoon had almost become an alcoholic. As a man who doesn't drink much unless with someone else, he saw drinking a rarity. An occasion. Until he looked at it differently. Like a pill that could take away his problems. He almost fell down the rabbit hole of drinking his problems away if it hadn't been for the youngest. Protecting his Idol since a young age. He brought him back to his senses, realizing his older hyungs needed help.

Taehyung and Jimin were both injured by the fact of their missing soulmate but took it as an opportunity to show their effort and look harder. That hope was slowly dying as well.

"Okay boys! Let's get out there and give this concert our all! Then you all get a bit of a break," Sejin announced, stepping into the circle of quiet boys.

Some groaned while others stayed completely silent. They all eventually stood up and piled to the backstage entrance onto the large platform with flashing lights and cheers.

"Guys. I know we're all in pain," Namjoon started, glancing around the tiny circle as he put his hand in.
Yoongi and Hoseok looked tired while Jin seemed Dazed. The maknaes were out of it but tried to smile for ARMY.

"Do it for our soulmates." They looked up at word of their significant others. "She might be out there. Waving her stick in the millions that make up our purple sea. She might be cheering you on. Watching you. Let's make a good impression, yeah?"

The boys were able to muster up some energy to put smiles on their faces as they joined hands. "Ready?" Jungkook asked. They nodded in response as Jk led the chant.

"Bangtan Bangtan!"

"Hyung!" Taehyung felt giddy with excitement as soon as the concert had ended.

"Taehyung? It's cold where's your jacket?" Namjoon asked once the younger had made his presence known.

"Don't worry about that. I found my soulmate!"

"What?" Namjoon asked in disbelief.

At the word of Tae finding his soulmate, the other 6 gathered around him to see the life changing initials.

For him the bond had happened immediately as his tally suddenly started making initials.

"Y. Y?" Jimin spoke aloud, trying to figure out who it would be. Jungkook silently kept repeating it to himself acting as if saying it over and over the answer would magically come to him.

"I got nothing," he pouted.

Taehyung hummed in thought when his eyes went wide and he gasped. "Hoseok hyung! You're leg!"

The members snapped their heads to Hoseok's leg who had looked down in confusion. There on his right thigh appeared the letters, Y. Y.

Tae's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Do we have the same soulmate or do they have similar names?" He asked.

Hobi shrugged, his normal smile back to his face. It made the other members hearts warm at the sight of Hobi being back to normal.

A shriek interrupted their small moment when Jungkook's tally started molding into a pair of familiar initials. Y. Y.

Following in the exact order went Jin, Namjoon then Jimin. All with the same initials.

Their eyes landed on Yoongi who showed no emotion on the outside but truly felt like crying. Not even crying. He felt like dying.

The others had found their soulmates or soulmate in one night and he? A lonely tally mark sitting on his right thigh.

He didn't want others to see him cry but secretly...he didn't feel like holding it in either.

"Hyung..." Jimin started but Yoongi cut him off as a tear slipped down his cheek.

"I'm fine." He walked away from the group of boys and wandered backstage for awhile, trying to recollect his thoughts. All until he felt a burning pain on his right thigh. Looking down he watched in shock as the tally scribbled itself into a set of initials that looks all too recognizable. Y.Y.
