Luhan sat up on his bed when a strange force started tugging on the shuttle. A loud screechiny beep woke up the other men in the chamber as they started tumbling towards the vacant planet. Luhan held onto his bed frame as their speed picked up. Yifan slid down to his level, looking out of the window, the atmosphere sucking them into the planet.
The shuttle started heating up before a robotic woman's voice spoke through the intercom. "Engaging. Prepare yourself for impact." Before any of them had the time to process and grab onto something, the space shuttle jerked, sending the 7 men foreward. They cooled down, slowly drifting safely down to the large research facility.
The facility took up a large area of the forest they landed in. Scientists began to walk over to the 3 shuttles, greeting the shooken up men as they emerged from the chambers. Luhan took a deep breath of the new air, his lungs buring as the unknown air particles tore up his lungs. The earth was thick ans soggy under his feet.
"The pain will go away soon." The scientists helped the men into the facitiy building, giving them cargo-like packs to go around their waist and chest. Each had large pockets for holding food or anesthetics and narcotics. Each men was given a dagger and a pistol with 12 magazines of ammunition. Luhan placed the dagger in the sheath where it belonged.
Yifan stood tall behind Luhan, his hands in the pockets of his cargo pants, rocking back and forth on his heels. He missed hos family too much. His anxiety level was through the roof.
In the first 48 hours they were able to make calls to home. Once this information entered his mind, he raced off to the room before the scientist could finish his sentence. He walked into the room and saw a man sitting by a large television screen. "Last name, First name." He spoke like a computer.
"Wu, Lilian." He sat foreward as the man's robotic hands typed the name. He sent a video call request and she answered right away.
Luhan walked into his room, what they called chamber. He tossed his cargo packs and magazines onto the bed before collapsing into the sheets. He was exhausted and stressed. He was stressed because everything seemed so normal.m It seemed like a normal college day, but it wasn't, they were on a completely new planet, with completely new things. Why does it seem so normal?

The dorms were hot, there was no air conditioning. It was muggy and hot, the trees were bigger than anyone could ever imagine. Stretching out to the sky, 10- maybe even 15× bigger than the tallest tree on Earth. It was unbelievable. Exotic like bird things with bat like wings and dragon like skulls flew through the trees, landing on the thick branches of the tree. They scowered the land with their darting eyes looking for any prey they could find.
Luhan sat on a rock that way buy a river next to the facility. His lungs still getting used to the burning sensation. He tossed little colorful pebbles into the stream, colorful crystals scattered around in the boulders next to him. He wondered if they were worth anything, he wondered if there were any human like creatures. As of now, the facility is the only human life form they have discovered.
He walked to a clump of tulip like flowers, they were much bigger and seemed like the glowed. He touched the bulb and it opened to his touch, and emgered a giant buttlerfly the size of his hand. It flew into the sky, making a whistling humming sound as it buzzes through the sky. It was fascinating, and he inticipated every moment of it.
