This is a typical apocalypse novel. People gain superpowers, crystal Nuclei, Family Betrayal (more on friends & neighbors & BF)
In this novel, the FL helps her family, neighbors, relative & BF escape when the apocalypse happened. On the way they are trying to use a school bus to escape. When her Aunt falls behind, she tried to assist her that makes her the last one who will enter the bus. Unfortunately she was scratch by a zombie and it was seen by her cousin. The cousin told everyone in the bus that the FL got scratch and they need to go.
The FL is heartbroken when she saw the bus leaving. She was so exhausted fighting the zombies alone. She was scratch and bitten but successfully killed all the zombies. She can already feel the virus flowing in her veins. Later on, the ML arrived along with his group on the scene and saw all the dead zombies. They found the half dead FL who was bitten, half dead. They can see the virus flowing in her vien.
In the end the ML decided to end her life while she's still a human. He pulled his gun and point it to the FL. He pulled the trigger but before it reached the FL she just vanish into thin air...
The FL woke up in a dimension and a door. One side is the apocalypse world she came from and the other side is a parallel world where no infection occured....
