May 19th 2021, a date I'll always remember because it's the date I learned what real heartbreak felt like and it's something I would pay billions to forget. You must be confused without any explanation so let's go back to that day so you can get an idea of the story and why I did the things I did.

I had woke up earlier that day, it was the day I planned to tell my best friend I liked him in a relationship type of way. I had liked him since I was a second year in middle school and he was a third but now he's about to graduate in two days, leaving me here in highschool. I didn't care about that though since we constantly seen each other out of school so it would work good.

I had spent allot of time planning my outfit the night prior. I was proud of the outcome since it made my features pop, I learned that blue and green did that to me. For this outfit I went with more of a nature tone, I had a smooth mocha green shirt with sleeves that reached my elbows, for the pants I put on some medium coloured brown cargo pants that I stole from my brother Jeongin, and then to top it off I matched the outfit with cream coloured high top converse.

For my hair I just combed it to the sides then left it be, noticing it's grown a little longer than I was used to. I don't wear makeup anymore since my skin started breaking out bad so that wasn't required and lastly I just added some random jewellery that I found wearable. After getting all ready I ran downstairs to show Jeongin. "Hyung look don't I look nice" I said with a smile, he clapped his hands and nodded "yes, my little brother is so cute!" He said then got up from the couch to grab his car keys. I looked at the clock on the stove then gasped "oh yes we need to go or I'll be late" I said then hurried upstairs to gather my stuff for school.

On the drive back to school Jeongin kept humming and whenever he hummed this tune meant he knew what was going on. I sighed "I'm not surprised you know, you're there to witness most of it" I said not taking my eyes from the window, Jeongin laughed "I'm sure he likes you back I mean he's always the one initiating the flirting so, let's have hope" he said then turned to me, ruffling my hair.

I giggled and before I realized it we were already at my high school. "See you later Hyung, I'll text you what happens!" I said the hopped out the truck, he waved and then sped off like he always does. I skipped towards the building then into my firs block classroom since we were a little behind anyways, as soon as I entered the whole class turned their attention to me. The teacher sighed "Mr. Yang this is the 5th time this week and it's Friday... mind explaining your absence?" He said raised an eyebrow. I scratched my neck nervously "I had to walk my dog...?" I said more as a question which gained laughter from the class as it's a known fact I'm allergic to dogs at this school.

The teacher scoffed then shooed me off to my seat so he could continue class. Once I got to my seat I waved to my besties, they're more like my best friends that are not Jay. JunHan looked at me with a glare "Jungwon where have you been?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, I might've lied when I said I was a little behind, I might've skipped a class and a half. I smiled "I had more important things to do than this review" I said closing my notebook. Sunoo laughed "getting ready to confess your feelings to your oh so oblivious best friend is definitely something more important" he said with a teasing smile.

I turned red, of course they knew what was going on, they always do. I chuckled "it's soon, I mean lunch is up next, then only two more classes, and then the end of the day where I tell him" I said daydreaming about the moment. The end of the school year was approaching in only a week which meant Jay would be going to college soon where allot of attractive people would want him and I don't even make half of the cut so I'll just tell him and get it over with even if I get rejected.
