CHAPTER 2: Wanna make... A DEAL?

*SCREECH*

The bus came to a halt by the bus stop where everyone from the mystery shack was waiting to give the twins a warm welcome

As soon as the doors opened, Mable ran out to the group appearing as the most excited one amongst them. While dipper was still inside trying to get the luggage out.

"Grunkle Stan! All of you guys. It's been so long."

She raced to hug all of them. the group had Grunkle Stan, Wendy, Soos, and Melody. Even Pacifica managed to sneak away to see the twins.

"Sup Mabes. long time no see."

Pacifica said with a chill face while raising her hand half high as a greeting.

"Awww. You called me 'Mabes'. It has a nice ring to it"

Mabel said in an squeaky voice.

"Well, It would feel rude to still call you a nerd y'know."

Pacifica said while wrapping her arm around Mabel's shoulders. 

Her personality had changed a lot and she had a much more friendly and open aura, unlike her past self. Mabel noticed that and hugged her which Pacifica hugged back while patting Mabel's back lightly.

Pacifica was now wearing a ponytail and got rid of her oversized earrings. She stood a 5' 8'' tall figure and also made a few friends.

After the hug session was over Mabel turned to greet everyone else and said

 "I have so much to tell you guys and you've all changed so much, except for you Soos, you're still the friendly Soos I remember and... Melody?

Mabel's expression turned into a confused one as soon as she saw Melody Standing beside Soos.

"Well Mabel, you're not the only one who has stories to tell y'know. Lotta stuff happened back at the shack too" replied Melody with a smile while leaning her head on Soos' shoulder

Mabel became wide-eyed. Could it be what she was thinking it would be?

"Long story short for ya dudes... We got married."

Soos said shyly as he held up his hand to reveal a wedding ring on his ring finger and Melody did the same.

"It's been a year and a half now"

Mabel started Fangirling and screeching with a huge grin on her face while fanning herself with her hands.

"And THAT isn't even the best part" 

Melody said as she crouched down to reach Mabel face to face

"There's more?"

Mabel's eyes were shining like stars now, curious at what could be more exciting than the news about the marriage.

"Melody is uh... 6 months pregnant now so we're expecting a child in 2-3 months", Soos said with a shy smile while scratching the back of his head.

Mabel was baffled when she heard that last sentence, her jaw hanging as she stared at the married couple exchanging small comments.

"c'mon you're gonna be a father now.. Show some confidence."

" Aww.. gimme some credit, at least I took the initiative to tell her the real news"

Mable was in a world of her own and she was hyperventilating with multiple thoughts lingering in her mind
