He started taking slow steps towards her but immediately stopped when he noticed how she shifted backwards and clinged on the headboard and he could clearly see the fear in her eyes which made him sit on the couch near the bed with a sigh
"How are you y/n?" He questioned while noticing her tight hold cluching on the bedsheet
"W-What do you w-want now Felix?" Tears fell down her cheeks remembering how he ruined her life, how he abused her and how he hated her entire existence, how he failed to fulfil the duty of a son and a brother
"First I want you to relax a bit" Felix got up from the couch and y/n panicked thinking he is coming towards her but fortunately he went towards the direction of his wardrobe before picking up some clothes
"I will pick up some good clothes later but for now wear this and come down" It was the first time y/n had seen him speaking in such a gentle, soothing voice towards her and it made her question

He smiled while looking at her but she just looked at him with a fearful expression which made him sigh and he went towards the door but right when he was about to leave the room, he stopped when he heard her voice

And he shut the door leaving y/n utterly dumbfounded. The room became dead silent after that but she soon sighed because she was back to the house which was a nightmare to her

She dressed up in the clothes given by Felix and went down, since it was the house she has lived for years she knew everything about it so she went towards the dining table
Felix was already sitting on the dining table with his hands crossed which made y/n shiver in fear seeing him like that but the moment he looked at her, his expressions changed

There were different types of mouth-watering cuisines on the table but none of then attracted her. She just sat there fiddling her fingers in anxiety but stopped when she felt her plate being filled with her favourite pancakes. She looked up at the person and she batted her eyelashes not believing she was seeing Felix pouring her maple syrup. He had an unexpected smile as he sat back on his chair cutting the pancakes but right when he was about to take a bite of it he stopped when heard her voice
