Chapter five

𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹𓃹

Streams of sunlight made their way into your room, reflecting off of the glass of your window and into your eyes. Temporarily blinding you and interrupting your peaceful slumber.

You let out a tired groan and sat up rubbing your eyes before stretching while yawning. You pulled the covers off of your body and got out of bed.

Walking over to your wardrobe you saw your reflection and just shrugged not fazed by your current state, you looked through your outfits and grabbed the most comfortable looking one.

You closed the doors of your wardrobe and got out of your pyjamas before changing into the outfit you had grabbed. After you grabbed your hairbrush and brushed your hair until it no longer looked like a birds nest.

Once you were finished you put the brush down and made your bed before leaving your room and heading downstairs immediately smiling as you saw your little brother and your father laughing together.

You looked over at the kitchen to see your mother cooking breakfast and your older brother helping her  you creeped up behind your little brother and tickled his sides making him squirm in his seat and laugh out loud.

"This is karma for scaring me yesterday." You laughed while tickling him.

Your father stood up and went behind you and picked you up as he raised you in the air swinging you around.

"That's enough tormenting your little brother now,little lady." He jokingly teased

You raised a brow at him and grinned "who you calling little,old man?"

He chuckled and put you down "why,old man? If I was an old man would I be able to pick you up like that?"

"Fair enough." You said laughing.

Your mother and older brother walked over carrying four plates of egg and bacon they put them down on the table and your older brother went back and grabbed a fifth plate and put it down. Once all plates were on the table you all took your seats.

"So little sis." Ivan spoke up

You hummed in reply as you ate your food.

"What was the thing that happened yesterday?" He asked

You swallowed your food "well first Belle came to visit me. Then, she dragged me out the house without my cloak and she dragged me around town showing me all these new people and a lot of them were nice then we sat down together by the fountain and talked."

You looked down at your plate "then she told me about this Gaston guy who had been begging her to marry him for years even after she has said no multiple times."

Your brothers eye's widened "Gaston? You mean slick backed black hair,buff body,hunter dude Gaston?"

"Yeah,how did you know?" You asked

"We've all seen him around except Nathaniel, personally I don't like him he's got too much of a big ego, mum likes him and dad thinks he's alright we've talked to him before and a lot of the townspeople talk about him A LOT. Anyway continue."Ivan said

Your mum and dad nodded in agreement when Ivan said their opinions on Gaston.

"Well...let's just say while we were talking he and his friend...Lefou I think his name was came over neither of them had noticed me yet until Gaston had gotten on my last nerve and well..I stood up for Belle she was obviously uncomfortable with how he was speaking to her and so I stood up for my friend and once I was done she just dragged me away and we went to hers but he didn't say anything afterwards he just stood there." You spoke before going back to eating

"Well, i'm so glad Belle finally dragged you out of the house without that dirty cloak it really needs washing..." your mother spoke

"I'm glad you stood up for your friend and I'm starting to not like that gaston fellow." Your father said

"What did the townspeople say about you big sis?" Nathaniel asked

"Well, they said I was really beautiful, I got a lot of compliments and since I'm not used to compliments...from strangers i mean,I didn't know how to react so I just gave an awkward thanks but I got to know speak to and know about a lot of them and see Maurice again....oh father!" You remembered

Your father turned to you midway chewing.

"Maurice said he'd love to hang out with you some time soon presumably at the bar." You remembered

"I'll arrange something with him thanks,Angel. And of course they would compliment my beautiful daughter." He grabbed your face gently and kissed your forehead

Once everyone finished eating your father grabbed all the plates and walked over to the sink to wash them.

"Why don't you three go upstairs that way you can tell your sister about our little adventure yesterday." Your mother said mainly directed towards your brothers

Nathaniel grabbed your hand and dragged you upstairs "let's go big sis I can't wait to tell you all about it. Especially the part where I got to ride a horse!"

Ivan chuckled and stood up following after the two of you.

Your mother went over to your father and began helping him wash up.
