47) Nate's Story-05: Mystery

"A-Akai!?"

"No, I am Scarlet. Akai was just a copy of mine. She has same gene as mine. She was created 15 years ago by Phantom king just for this day."(Scarlet)

"What do you mean?"

"15 years ago, Phantom king-sama predicted that there will be some tyranny nobles whom that rule in this land. She came up a plan to destroy some of the high ranking noble in one chain of events."(Scarlet)

"One chain of events?"

"You see Count Purplebat family, is one if the most powerful family in this country. Even though it's a Count family they are as powerful as an Marquis family. In some case more powerful than a Marquis family. The main bussiness of this family is prostitution. They forcedly make a orphan girl or rural girl/woman a prostitute. They brainwash their prostitute so that they can't live without prostitution."

So, they are scum.

"14 years ago, Count family head was murdered. Previous head was a good person. He only let those who wanted to be a prostitute to be a prostitute. He also treated prostitute really well. But everything got upside down after new head took over. He started doing evil things and we couldn'd make them pay publically because of our demon-human treaty. But the evil nobles deserve to die publically."(Scarlet)

Oh, yeah treaty hum.. A human-demon that they won't interfere other's conflict . It means if a demon king won't be able to do anything in a human war until most of the human country officially call for help. But a demon king can also interfere in some cases. But that's are really confusing things I don't want to think. But what does it have with Akai.

"What does it have to do with Akai?" Please heal her. I think you can help me. Please."

"You see. It's true that she died. A dying person can't come back. Only few people can do it."(Scarlet)

It can't be? Is there no hope? Damn it, why am I so useless?

"Oh before that, I have few things to tell you. You see, Akai left her a short letter for you and take this pokeball and trainer card. From now on, you are a real pokemon trainer."(Scarlet)

I took the a latter, a pokeball and a trainer card from her.

"Oh, one last things to say, can you give some of your blood. Don't worry I won't use it to curse you."(Scarlet)

Blood? why? Well, I have faith in phantom king. So, maybe it's for something they need. She really is the most mysterious demon king.

"Okay, I have faith in someone whom Akai has her faith on."

"You really are a good child. Okay, Goodbye. I will be talking her and Hugh's body."(Scarlet)

"Why?"

"It's an order from Phantom king herself."(Scarlet)

"Okay."

She vanished with Hugh and Akai's body. I can't even bury her. I am really useless. I am a fool. I can't help the person I love. I can't even understand her pain. I can't even understand why Hugh tried to kill Akai? I can somehow understand what happened after observing and listening. But I don't know why Phantom king-sama have to make a scenario where Akai have to die? How can she now interfere in this country's politics? Why its have to be Akai? If Akai ever loved me? I am a fool. I despise bad nobles. I despise this country. I despise making friend again. A started to understand why Akai was so carefree. Why she always says that she will become what she wants. Why she wasn't interest in upcoming competition. She knew that she would die. Oh, man I don't want to cry anymore. Please come back Akai. I really miss you.

I left the place. I went to my usual resting place in the east side to read Akai's last letter. Maybe I would get some clue about this mystery around her. Maybe a way to get her back.
