Under The Sakura Tree..

February 12, 9:50 pm. It was a quiet night in Karakura Town...A teenager boy strolled down the streets that were lighted by dim street lights. He had bright orange hair that stuck up in all sorts of directions. He was tall, had a slender physique although slightly toned muscles and a pair beautiful brown eyes that glistened in the moonlight. His name was Ichigo Kurosaki. He had his hands interlocked as he swung them behind his head in the soft breeze. Ichigo seemed like any other normal teen, but the teen had a special ability. From a very young age he was able to see spirits but before he couldn't determine if someone he saw was a spirit or a living being...and that misinterpretation led to a tragic accident..or at least that's what the teen thought.

Just as he was enjoying the moment, he heard a distant noise of footsteps..coming from the rooftops. His eyes widened in shock and confusion when he saw a girl, relatively short and in a black kimono running at a very fast pace. Then what even shocked him more was what the girl was running from. A huge centipede-like creature, it had a huge white mask with deep pools of darkness for eyes and glowing yellow pupils. There was a huge hole in the center of it's chest. " What the fuck is that...?! " Ichigo thought to himself in disbelief. He had so much questions spiraling in his mind right now. What is that creature? Who is that girl and why is she being chased by this creature? But he didn't know what to but his instinct had reacted much quicker than his thinking because before he knew it, he running behind that monster to save the girl...

He lagging quite behind because of the monster's speed but he was able to follow it without loosing it's tail." God this damn thing fast.." Ichigo thought to himself while still keeping a constant speed. Finally after a good 5-7 minutes of constant running and panting, the creature had isolated the small girl in a dead end of a street. When he reached the street he was right behind the creature before he stepped to his left to get the girl's attention. Finally when her gaze met the teens'...she couldn't help but stare at him with so much shock. " What..? He's a human yet he can still see me and the hollow. Maybe he isn't a human but judge by his clothes he looks like one But how? Oh god, if he gets in the way then he's gonna get killed. I gotta stop him! But first, this hollow has to be distracted." Ichigo looked at the puzzled female who looked lost in thought, she then swiftly diverted her attention to the creature.

She put both her arms straight out with palms open and said something along the lines of " Hadou 31, Shakkahou!" Suddenly a glowing red ball of light formed from her palm and shot right at the one of the creatures' legs . It screeched in both pain and annoyance. As it was distracted, Ichigo, who was still in amazement of what he just saw ran to the girl. "You idiot! Your going to get yourself, run away from here before you get harmed. This monster is no match for some human" The girl exclaimed in a clearly irritated attitude. " Oh just shut it, it's not like your in any better shape either ya know...just tell me what's going on and what even are you doing." Ichigo replied in the same not -so- happy tone.

The girl only sighed in annoyance knowing that arguing with this guy wasn't going to get her anywhere. She cleared her throat before speaking her introduction. " My name Rukia Kuchiki and i'm a shinigami..." Ichigo nodded in answer but also in confusion before he too, answered. " Name's Ichigo Kurosaki. Now anyways tell me how I can defeat this creature." Rukia just looked at him, eyes wide open. " ARE YOU CRAZY, YOU DON"T EVEN KNOW WHAT THIS THING IS AND YOU WANNA DAMN FIGHT IT. LET ALONE GET RID OF IT!!!!" Ichigo scowled in annoyance from the fact that a little girl was screaming in her ear. " Listen woman, I don't got no time for your annoying lectures so hurry up and tell what to do cuz my ears are gonna bleed from your endless screaming." Rukia stared at him for a few seconds before sighing and answering..." So in an order for you to defeat this creature as you call it...you have to have at least some weapon and fighting skills.. punching and kicking won't do any good." Rukia explained." Well guess what i ain't a shinigami..." Ichigo exclaimed with a grimace on his face... " yea no shit " Rukia exclaimed back in annoyance. They both just sat there for a while and rukia was thinking something

" Hm it seems i've got no choice then..I've gotta transfer some of my powers or there's no chance in he beating this hollow." Rukia thought for a bit and sharply looked at Ichigo...." Ichigo...why do you want to help me and why do you wanna defeat this thing." Ichigo didn't know what to say but just then many images flashed inside his head, he saw himself, his family and friends...more sad images came into his had but he knew his answer...His expression turned from sorrowful and guilty to confident and fierce. He looks up at Rukia and answered. " It's because I wanna protect all those who are close to me! If there are more damned things like these who can pose threats to people then I wanna protect as much people as I can.!"

Rukia looked at him and felt something like pride stream through her body. She gave Ichigo a confident smile." Very well then, I will give you half of my Shinigami powers and you use that to defeat the monster." Ichigo nodded in response. Rukia then place his hand on ichigo's shoulder and a bright white aura surrounded him and when the aura faded away.. Ichigo was wearing the same black kimono that Rukia was wearing, wooden sandals and a huge body length sword. But before Rukia could even respond in shock... Ichigo jumped up high and with his full force..sliced the sluggish creature in 2. It the disintegrated away and Ichigo turned around and ran towards Rukia. She was completely awestruck..Ichigo thought that Rukia was so surprised because of how he slayed the creature and felt proud. But Rukia was shocked....in a bad way. Her mouth curled downward in a frown before she looked up and locked her sorrowful gaze with the teen's prideful one and said..." My powers....t-there gone..."
