The Vacation (Hyunjin pov; horror)

Day 3

(Day 3)
I got downstairs and on the stairs I saw Seungmin. He was talking to Jeongin but I didn't care. I went to him and grabbed him by his shirt "How dare you knock on my door at fucking 2.30 AM in the middle of night. It gave me nightmares for the whole night again" Seungmin grabbed my shirt "Oh just the person I wanted to see. You knocked on my door at 1.15 AM and now you are trying to play innocent by telling me bullshit like this" I would think he was playing innocent but I could see from his eyes that he was telling the truth. Then Bang Chan came to us and broke us apart. Then Seungmin said "Wait Hyun. You really didn't knock on my door? I can see from your face that you didn't" "No I really didn't" then Jisung and Minho came up to us. We looked at Jisung and then Minho said "Guys it wasn't him. He was with me in my room downstairs this time". Then the front door opened and Changbin entered with visible panic in his eyes "I am not going running in the forest alone again. I don't know how to explain but I can feel that I was followed." Then Bang Chan had had enough of our fear and said "Okay I am done. Hyunjin and Seungmin someone obviously was pranking you and I don't care who anymore and for you Changbin. You then find someone who would go running with you or don't run at all. Just leave me out of all this" and after that he just left the house.

The tensions were high all day until lunch. At lunch Bang Chan got back to the house. "Guys let's talk everything through before we eat. As I was out I found an explanation for all of your problems. Jisung's comment was actually a tree branch. I can show you the tree if you want to. Seungmin and Hyunjin. The owner said it was probably just a woodpecker. And Changbin you are just paranoid. Just find someone to go running with you and when you don't find anyone then I can also come." After this conversation everyone felt a little calmer. 

Everyone stayed calm until the evening. I was just chilling in my room and then I heard someone being on the roof. I ran out of my room and then I saw Changbin, Felix and Seungmin also rushing out of their rooms. "Please say you all also heard someone on the roof", "Fuck it's really scary. I can't take it anymore" Felix said as you could see fear in his eyes. That was when the movement sensitive light in front of the house lit up and we all saw the forest lit up in little shining dots, just the same you could see when you show a flashlight into animals eyes. Then they all disappeared while we could hear who or what was on the roof get off. Seungmin looked at Changbin and said "Hyung, I think you weren't just paranoid. I think it was real". We all were shaking from the fear. That was when Jeongin came out of nowhere "Guys what the fuck are you doing right now? You woke me up" We exchanged looks between us, we were all thinking the same thing. "Jeongin, we are going to sleep in your room. All of us. We don't care what you say".

As we all were moving our stuff downstairs Jisung saw us. He said "So you finally saw them too?" Jeongin was so confused "Saw what? I want to know what got you all so scared"  "Let's get into your room and then we will tell you everything" I said.

Jisung joined us all. We finally told Jeongin everything. "It's hard to believe but seeing you all this scared makes me believe". Then I told them about the opened balcony door from the night before. "So that thing was in the house. What if we hadn't had our doors locked" Seungmin said. "Wait. Jisung. What did you mean before when you said that we finally saw them too?" Felix said, looking at Jisung. "Well basically the first night after watching the movie I couldn't sleep and then I decided to look for the tree branch so I went back to the livingroom and then through the window I saw one monster in the backyard. Why do you think I have slept in Minho's room?" "You knew they existed and let me go to run in the forest and didn't tell anyone" "I told you when we were having breakfast. You just said that I am pranking you". After a while of talking we got sleepy and slept a little.
