As Demise got to his father he knelt down and whistled for the phoenix. When the phoenix got to Demise he pointed to his father's body and the phoenix dropped a tear on the body. When the tear hit the body there was a golden glow and William sat up and looked around. ¨ What happened?¨asked William, ¨ You died, but the phoenix brought you back.¨ said Demise relieved that his father was alive. Then there was a blood curdling screech as the phoenix dropped to the ground. ¨ Stupid bird!¨ shouted a trapper as he shot the phoenix out of the sky with his bow. When they saw the phoenix take its last breath they became furious that they came all this way for nothing, to have the phoenix die either way. They both ran at the trapper and killed him in an instant. When they realized that there was nothing else for them to do there they headed back to the keep.
