"Yeah..." May said.
"I'm so sorry!" Anne said repeatedly while both of her friends got up.
"We were just waiting till you two finished haha," Charlie said.
"Speaking of that I'm guessing this is new?" May said.
Confused by what May meant it took a while to notice that Julie and she had still been holding hands.
"uH- yeah we um figured things out. Please don't tell anyone." Anne said
"Don't worry, it's all good," Charlie said.
"Yeah, your secret is safe with us." May smiled.
"Thank you," Julie said to both of them.
Suddenly Julie's phone started going off and she went away a few steps to take the phone call.
"Good thing we didn't get ice cream because it would have melted already!" May said teasing.
"I'm so sorry I made you guys wait, I feel terrible!!"
"You can make it up by telling us what happened," Charlie said with a goofy smile on their face.
"Haha okay, deal." Anne laughed.
"I have to head home now, mom is wondering where I've been, haha," Julie said.
"Oh okay bye Julie," said Anne
"See you later Anne, I'll text you!" Said, Julie
She waves goodbye to May and Charlie.
"Okay c'mon let's head to the park now," May said.
"Yeah! C'mon race, you guys!" Charlie said getting a head start.
"TO THE PARK?!" Anne cried out. "I'M NOT THAT ATHLETIC!"
"Haha too bad!" May started running after Charlie.
"Ughhhh!!!" Anne started pathetically pacing toward them.
"You're losing Anne, I'm almost to the gate!" Charlie yelled from the other side of the hall.
"I ever agreed to this!" Anne yells back.
