Working with nightmares has it up and downs but the rain always calms you down the smell and the light/hard sound of the water hitting the floor is just the greatest thing the thing is you always had trouble falling asleep you just can't fall asleep it hard you always stay up around four in the morning

And always drinking coffee to wake you up and do your work fighting the star sanses and all of that stuff but you had great friends but never told them even if they ask if you gotten enough sleep you always said "I'm just walking up don't worry" they didn't want to push you so they stop asking

But nightmare your boss he always seem to notice that you don't get enough sleep but didn't say anything he thought you would go to bed soon but didn't but he had a warm feeling when ever you walk by him or even talk to him he never felt this

But he understand what it was it was love but he hid it well afraid that you rejected him because for all he knew back then that monster can't be with a human but time has changed he thought he might help you with your mess up sleep and hopefully confess his un dying love for you that he hid for so long

It was love at first sight scene he laid 'eyes' on you

"Y/n nightmares calling you killer had said  " alright I'll be there give me second you reply rubbing your eyes and walking to the throne room

You wanted to talk nightmare you said when you walking in the throne room

"Yes I was thinking maybe you should stay back for a while and let the other do the work you seem to be to tired to anything and in fact you seem to be getting week and coffee not going to get you anywhere he had said "

"Nightmare I'm sure I'll be fine I don't need a break I can do it no need to make me stay back while you guys break bones and maybe more you said trying to convince him"

"I am sticking with my words y/n you are not allowed to come to do any work last time you ended up With five broken ribs and a sprained ankle and that was because you are not getting enough sleep so I am making sure your sleeping well and have enough energy "

You didn't sleep you keep on tossing and trueing and being on your phone until it was one in the morning
You heard the door noob turn and nightmare cane in you look at him

"Why aren't you a sleep yet" he said

You shrug and turn around you heard him sighed and walking over to you "scoot over" he said your eye widened in shock but did scoot over enough for him to lay down as he got in the covers he had pulled you to his chest your face exploded with red

He started to play with your hair and talked in a low voice for you surprising you started to feel your eye lids feel heavy  y/n your heard nightmare you look at him with a hum I- I love you he said with a blush you smiled I love you to you said back

He smiled a little and kissed your lips you close your eyes and falling asleep in the kiss you soon felt him pull away and continued to play with your hair as the rain hit your window softly pated and the sweet smell as you both fell asleep in each other arms.
