The next day, Harry awoke at a start. Just from looking at the sun's location outside his bedroom window he knew he was late and in trouble. Grabbing his glasses and a cloak, he quickly apparated to the doorstep of the Weasley's where he knew Mrs. Weasley and his girlfriend - er, fiance, would be waiting.

Opening the front door, Harry stepped inside cauiously. "Ginny ? Mrs. Weasley?" he called.

"In the kitchen, dear!" said Mrs. Weasley from around the corner. Harry slowly stepped into the kitchen where Ginny and Mrs. Weasley sat having tea. Harry purposefully avoided Ginny's gaze before stepping over to her and kissing her on the cheek, which she attempted to dodge.

"Hello, dear." beamed Mrs. Weasley, "Would you like a bit of breakfast?" Harry smiled at her,

"That'd be great, Mrs. Weasley." he replied.

"So what's the big news you two are so eager to share?" Mrs. Weasley said, a bagel was flung across the kitchen onto a plate, which then landed in front of Harry. Mrs. Weasley tucked her wand into her apron. It was obvious by her excited smile that she had an idea. Before the words were able to escape their mouths, however, there was a clanging on the front door.

"Oh! Ron and Hermione are here!" Said Mrs. Weasley, rushing to answer the door. Harry and Ginny exchanged panicked glances, knowing it would be difficult for Ron to hear about his best friend getting married to his sister.

"Ronald Weasley!" They heard Mrs. Weasley yell, "Do you have to throw your shoes in the walkway every time?"

"Sorry, mum."

Ron and Hermione had gotten married just three months before. Harry held off on his proposal so that there wouldn't be the distraction of two weddings. The two of them were one of the most perfectly dysfunctional couples he'd ever seen. Ron was still his same clumsy, sarcastic self, and Hermione was still a know-it-all. Together, they fit like puzzle pieces.

Rounding the corner, Hermione saw Harry and Ginny. An excited squeal escaped her lips. Harry knew her too well, she knew something was up. Ron slapped Harry on the back and gave Ginny a half-hug before searching for food.

"Sooo... What's the news?!" Squealed Hermione excitedly. Without speaking, Ginny reached into her pocket and pulled out a ring. Sliding it carefully down her left ring finger, no one breathed. It took about a second for everyone to understand.

As soon as they did, it got very, very loud.

Hermione screeched, Mrs. Weasley dropped a pan and hugged the couple tightly, while Ron leaned against the cupboard quietly. Hermione stopped chattering long enough to realize his inactivity and as soon as she did, so did everyone else.

"Ron?" Said Ginny, raising her eyebrows. Every fear of Harry's regarding his best friend's reaction was released when Ron uttered the word,

"Congrats." Followed by a genuine smile.

After about an hour, every member of the Weasley family knew and the house was filled...
