Thalleous' Pov:

How many times has it been? 3? 6? 10 times? Again and again yet I always get the same ending...No matter how many times I see it, you always seem to slip away from my grasp. You were never meant to live but to die and I love you too much for that to happen, even if it was said in the prophecies that I would kill you and end up victorious.

Even if it kills me or corrupts me, I will never let anyone hurt you...Not if I'm alive. Over and over again...I had to see your lifeless body in my arms many times trying to find an ending where your alive and happy. You always said it wasn't worth it, that you should just accept your fate and go on with life.And I regret I hadn't done that, this time it's different...No, a different story yet the same ending

No one's Pov:Thalleous had bags under his eyes, his eyes were no longer the crystal blue Tygren once knew and loved dearly, his hair was frizzy and often tangled. 'Who is this?' Tygren often questioned these days as it only got worse each day

"Thalleous please, it's not worth-" He motioned to the Sendaris but was cut off as he slapped his hand away "I'm this close to finding an ending where you are happy!" His pupils dilated as his tone was not the sweet and charming one Tygren once knew, "How can I be happy if you are like this..." Even as he mumbled it out, Thalleous was still able to hear it.

Tygren left only to be stopped by Thalleous "Where are you going" He sounded rather demanding than concerned, "Out" He responds as he goes out of the room leaving Thalleous to his thoughts. 'What's the point in doing all this if he won't be...happy' Thalleous thought to himself

As he went out, he saw Tygren looking so peaceful as he admired the sky and the small flowers beneath him. "I only want what's right for you..." He started walking up to Tygren who had stood up and changed facial expressions as he saw him, "I don't like you like this, I hate this new you" He said plainly as Thalleous was angered and confused only more to what his lover said. "Why can't you understand I'm doing this for you! I've had to see your dead body countless times yet I still pushed through because...because...because..." There was silence in the air as Thalleous tried to remember why he had done all this, why couldn't he just be happy with his lover's last remaining days.

Was it because he was the one to kill him? Did he not want to live with the guilt of killing his lover? Was he questioning if their love was real just because of a prophecy that said he was to kill him and end up victorious? Well...he never really liked what he saw when he found the reason why

"Because I'm scared...to be left alone again"

He finally answered yet the scene before him would leave a mental scar in him that would last forever, in front of him was Tygren who had red liquid pooling around him. He could not speak nor blink, you could only see tears at the corners of his eyes, the words Thalleous last heard from Tygren was...

"No matter how many times, I would still love you..."

"If only I listened to him, I would have still been alone but content...Yes, content with that ending between the many endings I've seen. Those other endings, they always repeat even though they're all the same if you've seen it enough times
