Just a small story

So.

Last chapter I wrote about Lee know and Seungmin going around in Mumbai, right?

Well, while I got this idea from my parents.

You see, there are many people who think that arrange marriage is BORING or They just do it because their parents told them to!

GUYS! That is not true!

YES! Sometimes the situations might be like this, but NOT ALL THE TIME!

So, here's my parents story of how they met!

My parents had an arrange marriage.

Both of them never had any relationships before.

My mom had rejected a few guys before marrying my dad.

But my dad had rejected 7 - 8 GIRLS BEFORE CHOOSING MOM!

My Grandpa were pretty Forward than other people. Not SOO forward, but a little forward.

So, when they got the profile of dad, they decided to met at a restaurant instead of going to each others house.

My Mom and Dad bought liked each other and thought about.

My grandparents asked my mom every now and then whether she liked guy or does she wanna nee t somebody else.

But my Mom thou that my Dad was OK.

On 31st December, a call came from my Dad's parents telling that they accept the relation.

So did my mom's parents accepted.

But both of them wanted to take it slowly.

So....

My Dad use to take his scooter, drive from Thane to Borivalli, take Mom from her house and they both use enjoy going to Mumbai and drop my Mom at her house at night!

For your information, the ride between Thane and Borivalli is about half an hour or an hour or something.

And at that time, Neither Thane or Borivalli had some malls or something. Both the cities were not that developed at that time.

So they both use to go to Mumbai city, most probably they use to go to Church gate because at that time, church gate use to have this street malls and amazing STREET FOOD.

This is where I got the idea of showing 2min roaming Mumbai.

Like all Frankies and All chaat items and many dishes.

It was literally a fashion street because there use to have all these latest 90's outfits.

Romantic story isn't it?

Well, you will be shocked by the next thing which I am going to tell you.

I was a person who use to not believe in Faith and everything, but after listening to stories of my mom and dad I might start believing it.

My Mom was talking to my dad one day and she joking said that

"मी तुझ्या सोबत ७ जन्म राहणार ! बाबा पण हेच बोललेले ! "

Translation: I am gonna be with you for 7 lives ! Even grandpa told this.

By the name grandpa , she meant my Father's grandpa.

I asked her what she was talking about.

She told me that, one day, before I was born, my great grandfather had opened a family album. That album consisted nearly all my relatives and cousins younger photos.

It even had a Family tree of our Sawant family.

Sawant is my surname.

My mom looked through the album and saw the family tree.

She noticed something.

My great grandfather had 2 marriages. His first wife had died but he had their kid. Then he had a second marriage and that the second one had her child. But my grandpa treated both of them as his own.

My mom checked the family tree and found out that the Death date of his first wife was the same as my mom's birthdate.

She asked him and he replied-

" Yes, I know about it, when I got your Kundali, I looked at your birthdate as remembered this, that's why I thought that you would be the perfect wife for my son."

There were many such episodes which PROVED that it was faith that dad and mom were meant to be.

So, in the end, Arrange marriages are not always sad and boring.

Sometimes it can also be the best decisions!

This story has just happened to my parents so I thought of sharing.

ONE MORE THING!!!

When I grow up, and if I wanna get married and IF I wanna have an arrange marriage....

I WANT MY MAN TO TAKE ME ON LOOOOONNNGGG RIDES AND EXPLORING MUMBAI AND EVERYTHING!!!!

DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU ARE INDIAN OR KOREAN OR WHATEVER!!!

IF YOU WANNA MARRY ME, THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE ME ON A LONG RIDE EXPLORING MUMBAI AND EVERYTHING!!!

IS THAT CLEAR???
