CHAPTER 1

"Alex wake up!" my mom shouted like always I hate it not my mom but the point of going to school you see I get bullied and yelled at but I have a hope that when I find my mate I will move away from this pack. A pack that is supposed to be like a family but everyone around here treats me like a piece of shit as I go toward the bathroom I walk into my brother Tyler ever since dad died he blamed it on me just because he died protecting me well a least that's what I think I never got over his death I as well as ways blame it on me because if I hadn't been near the boarders lines then the rouges wouldn't have had a chance to attack but of course I had to be there and they had to get me and eventually tell my dad they would trade me for the position of alpha and kill him

shoving me hardly in to the wall I took a shower and headed quickly moved while trying to avoid anyone in the pack house as I look around one last time as my outfit I have black skinny jeans and a baby blue V-shirt from Areopostale along with some black converse and a gray hoodie while my blonde hair was in a pony tail I hear my ring tone baby by usher

"Hey Alex I'm outside get down here we are only waiting on you"

"Oh sorry Amy ok on my way be there in like 5 min I have to do something first"

I run down stairs and say good bye to my mom but she stops me

"Alex honey did you forget something"

i take a look at myself keys; pack back, extra clothes, pony tail holders

"no mom got to go or ill be late for school" as soon as I turn around to give her kiss I come face to face with the number 16 in candles on a cup cake "oh no" I mentally say

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX! my mom yells along with Amy, Alexander, Jackie, Michael, and Lina twins with Nina their some of the few friends I have

"Oh my goodness is it today!'

"Yup February 10 so be sure to be home before 8:00 because that when you officially turn 16 and you'll turn into you wolf" mom says excitedly oh my goodness I turn into my wolf tonight that mean that I can find my mate today at school

"Omg I can find my mate today let go" as I run to Amy's diablo Lamborghini and we head to school

We arrived at school in 10 min almost 18min early I looked around and made eye contact with everyone even if I didn't like them because they could be my mate well not everyone I still hid my face from the cheerleaders that always bully me just because I'm like 2 pounds over weight

I didn't bother looking any more one because it was weird and 2 because I was bored and staring to get weird looks from so cute guys but not my mate the first 3 classes went normal name calling shoving on to walls but 4th period was definitely weird I walked in to social studies like always but I felt eyes burning in to my back turn around wanting it to stop and I found myself looking straight into one of the most britches girls in the school Laura west

"well well what do we have here the big fat ass of Alex black" she said while getting closer and shoving me on to a table

"move Laura I dint have you time today get me go" I said while getting out of her grip she grabbed me by the shoulder and I can almost swear I hear a very low growl from one of the boys behind Laura maybe it was her boyfriend trying to frighten me I didn't pay attention

"Laura just let her go she...she...she's not worth it she's a waste of energy" someone I the back said

"But mason she was talking back at me I'm your girlfriend and you the future alpha of the red moon pack you should make her respect me" she whined

"I now but leave her alone just this once ok?"

"fine" Lauren managed to let go I'm surprised one because she let me go and two because mason the one person who bullies me the worst stood up for me as I walk away mason grabs my wrist and sparked shoot up my arm and down my spine in a wonderful feeling I look at him in the eyes and we intently lock eyes as the world faded away till Laura came in right when my wolf screamed "MINE Mate!" I take my arm and I run home while I get asked questions of why I was going home I arrived home right at 7:59 when pain shout thought my body as soon as I reached my bed room and I could fell and hear my bones pop out of the sockets while rearranging into my wolf form and out of so much pain I pass out right the on my bedroom with one though "Mason Rincon was my mate
