"That's it maybe we should go in." Clary said to the others.

"Agreed. They took so much time-" Izzy was saying as she saw Alec and Ash coming out finally.

"Sooo any good news?" Izzy smiled.

"She's Michael Wayland's daughter." Alec said slowly.

"I have a sister?" Jace blurted suddenly, staring at Ashley in shock.

"Well, Jace you need to hear the full story. I didn't know about this either though okay." Ashley said.

"Okayyyy." Jace said.

"Let's go to discuss this in the institute." Ash protested.

The others nodded as they all quietly headed off to the Insitute.

Alec, Clary, Izzy and Simon were waiting in the weapons room for Jace and Ashley to finish their talk.

"So, guys. How do you find Ashley?" Simon asked.

"I think she's okay with all this. A bit. She needs time, and i totally understand that." Clary said.

"I think she's very pretty too." Izzy smiled and looked at Alec who looked away. "How about you Alec?"

"I think it doesn't really matter what i think." Alec said dryly and walked out.

"What's with him?" Clary asked.

"He has a small crush on your bestie. He acts like that when he's starting to fall in love." Izzy giggled.

"I can now tell. But i mean, they make a great ship anyways." Clary said.

"Is this all what girls talk about in their free time?" Simon looked at them awkwardly as Izzy and Clary laughed.

"It was so random why Valentine would force our mother to leave me." Jace said, still in disbelief.

"I know, and we need answers. We need to find that Magnus Bane person and ask him for his help. He could probably tell us or know what really happened." Ashley said.

"Okay, I promise i will try to find out about our weird past." Jace said softly.

Alec was in his room and he had the door shut. He was too busy thinking and walking around as if something was bothering him.

"Alec?" Jace appeared, closing the door behind him.

"Jace? Why are you-" Alec started.

"Shhhh. Alec. Let me tell you something. If this is about Ash, then i know. If you like her, i feel like you should tell her. Besides, she's my sister now. And i can now figure out if she does have something for you too." Jace said.

"Jace, that's not all it. It's also because of Magnus." Alec sighed.

"Magnus? I thought you were over him."

"I am. But we are going to Pandemonium and we haven't seen Magnus since 4 months ago. It's not easy to see your ex just appear out infront of you like that." Alec explained.

"I may not really have a basic understanding about emotions, but i know that you are strong. And you can face him." Jace said.

"He signed Ash's mind. Also, I heard he's back with Camille." Alec rolled his eyes.

"If that's what's bothing you...that means your not completly over him yet-" Jace whispered.

"I am. It's just...he moves on too quickly. And he already got back with his ex, so i guess i don't mean anything to him anymore. Im just one of his cruddy exes." Alec sighed.

"Listen to me parabatai. Nobody. Absolutely nobody. Can judge you. I won't let him try to sarcastically insult you if anything." Jace said.

"Okay but...i need to find a fake date while going there." Alec said.

"You already have one here in the institute." Jace smiled.

"No Jace. The girl's been through alot already. Imagine i confess to her. That would be ridiculous."

"Ok you have a point. WAIT. I can explain your situation to her and tell her to ACT as your date-"

"Jace that's enough. It doesn't matter. I'll figure something out once we get there."

"Alright. If you say so."

"Ready?" Ashley walked out of the room in the red dress.

"Ready!" Izzy screeched.

"Ready!" Clary shouted.

"Vampiready." Simon said.

"Simon...please never make a vampire joke about yourself ever again. That was way too cringy." Ashley slightly shivered.

The others laughed as Simon only said, "It's not my fault that nobody understands my dark humor."

Jace and Alec appeared and Ashley could feel her skin burn as Alec was looking at her now.

"You guys look ready." Jace grinned.

"Yes we are." Clary replied, smiling as they left the institute to Pandemonium.
