"If it isn't the oversized bitch who's probably two times her nigga's height." Normani says, watching as Dinah sat down across from her, "Ha ha, bitch, very funny. This comin from the bitter hoe who probably got cobwebs on ha pussy." She claps back with an innocent smile. Normani rolls her eyes, "Listen here you big behemoth—" "Can you two please go a day without insulting eachother? It's like you never run out!" Ally Brooke, Dinah's half sister and Normani's close friend, exclaims, walking to the table with her girlfriend, Lauren Jauregui.

Lauren hums, "No no, let them continue. This is entertaining." She says lowly. Normani shrugs, "I mean, if Goliath here can shut the fuck up sometimes—" Dinah playfully winks at Normani, "—we'd be chillin. But we're not because the big bitch always starts shit." The 17-year-old complains. Dinah hummed, "If I remember correctly, you came at my throat when you saw me, I just returned the energy." She giggles out. Normani mocks Dinah's giggle, "Oh really?" She asks childishly, "How about I return it full force by shovin my foot up yo—" "Okay! Let's eat!" Ally shouted.

Normani hums, "What I want to eat ain't on the menu." She mutters, glancing up at Dinah who choked on air trying not to laugh. Lauren high fives Normani, "My girl!" She laughs out. Dinah pats her chest, "Just like Normani to make a lewd comment while people are eating." She says. Normani hums, "Stop strap ridin me, Dinah-Jane." She snaps playfully. Dinah bites her lip, "You would like that, wouldn't you?" She asks softly with a smirk. Normani scoffs before muttering, "Damn right." Under her breath. Lauren heard and her eyes went wide.

Ally clears her throat, "Hello? Less talking, more eating." She says, snapping her fingers. Normani pulled the signature 'who-tf' face making Dinah giggle. The group talked about random stuff, Dinah and Normani casually throwing playful insults at each other which got on Ally's nerves, "You two fuss like a married couple." Lauren laughs out. Dinah smirks, "Gone head and put a ring on it, Mani." She says. Normani scoffs, "Ain't no way in HELL or Heaven I'd marry you, Dinah." She says with a head shake. Normani could've sworn she seen Dinah face fall a little before putting back on her megawatt smile, "You say that know, you'll never know in the future." She teases. Normani snorts, "You know what, yo predictions ain't neva wrong, I wouldn't be surprised." She laughs out.

Ally shakes her head, "I wouldn't be surprised either. You two would be cute together if you stopped insulting each other every given second." She points out. Normani hums, "Goliath be playin like I really won't wife ha." She says with an eye roll making Dinah laugh, "Just like you be playin when I say lay that strap on me but ok." Lauren's eyes widened, "You be talking about this shit?" She asks. Both Normani and Dinah looked over at Lauren with a blank face, "No Lauren, it's just jokes." Normani says simply.

Ally pauses when she hears Dinah mutter, "Probably for you." Lauren caught this and sent Ally a questioning look. Ally shook her head, "You two, are a mess." She says. Normani scoffs, "Neva dat. Can't say the same about Big Foot." She says. Dinah feigns a hurt expression, "I look good everyday, thank you for your backwards ass compliment." She says making Normani nod, "You're not welcome." She says with a sarcastic smirk. Lauren hums, "Can you go one day without coming at Dinah's neck? Do you even have good shit to say about Dinah?" She asks in between laughs.

This peaked both Ally and Dinah's attention. Normani shrugged, "I can name over 20, but I'm not though." She states simply. Ally hums, "How about you try and say something good to Dinah?" She asks making both Dinah and Normani cringe, "Where's the fun in that? We're not Dinah and Normani if we actually complimented each other instead of making people think that we're enemies." She states. Lauren shakes her head, "Would you let anybody else talk to Dinah this way—?"

"Don't ask that stupid ass question." Normani says almost instantly with a hard glare. This shocked everyone at the table, "Like i'd let somebody dog Dinah out, that's my job." She mutters making Dinah giggle, "You do a damn good job at it too." She praises. Normani bows playfully, "Thank you. I'll be here til 6." She jokes.

Later that evening at Dinah's house

Normani never really said anything when they were younger, but she noticed that's Dinah's parents and siblings were barely home and when they were, they uttered a few words to her then left again. Well, except Seth and Regina. They loved their big sister with all of their heart. Normani never asked though. No matter how much she wanted to. They were gone again, probably for another week, "Mm, Normani?" Dinah says softly, feeling the shorter girl's finger tips run up and down her back as she held her, "Yes, Goliath?" Normani responds making Dinah laugh slightly, "I um... do you think I'm pretty?" She asks out of nowhere. Normani furrows her eyebrows and glances over at Dinah who was heavily focused on the tv. She hated when Dinah did that. Whenever she was nervous or scared, she'd look at something or someone else to not focus on it,

"Why you ask that?" Normani asks curiously. This question has never came up prior til today, "Just answer the question, asshole." Dinah snaps lowly. Normani raises her hands slightly in feigned defense, "My bad, playa." She says, "To answer your dumbass question, no I don't think you're pretty." Normani says simply. Dinah nods slowly, "Oh." She says dejectedly. Normani pulls Dinah a little closer to her, "Pretty is an understatement. You're beautiful." She says softly making Dinah's face flush, "And, if we weren't best enemy friends, I'd fuck. And not once either." Normani says. Dinah groans and pushes Normani away from her, "You're gayyy! I hate it!" She shouts.

Normani laughs, "How you gon hate yo own people?!"
