After Christmas had passed it was finally new year's eve. Everyone decided to go to Audrey's apartment and celebrate the new year all together.
Lilly's apartment
"what should we bring?" Lilly asks her husband who was sitting in the living room reading a book.
"hmm..how about brownies? and we can make them together" Tom says smiling putting his book down and walking over to his wife.
"that sounds perfect" Lilly says wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him.
Izzy's apartment
"omg you know what we should bring" Izzy says as she lays with her husband in bed.
"hmm?" her husband responds still half asleep.
"Chick fil a" Izzy responds while getting out of bed.
"Alright sounds good to me. We can go get it later." Colby says pulling the covers over him to go back to sleep.
Audrey's apartment
"I can't believe it's already going to be a new year. It's all gone by so fast" Audrey says to Atlas.
"I know" he says as he puts his shoes on.
"Where are you going?" Audrey questions him.
"I've just gotta do some stuff at work" he responds.
"Oh alright, just make sure to be back before everyone arrives" Audrey responds with a slight smile on her face.
After this Atlas walked out and Audrey questioned things that were going on.
'what if it's his new assistant, I knew she was always too friendly with him.'
All of these thoughts are going through Audrey's mind and she decided that she was going to do something about it.
Lilly's apartment
Lilly and Tom were both in the kitchen making brownies.
"I wanna lick the spoon" Lilly says as Tom pours the batter into the pan leaving some excess batter on the spoon. He nods in agreement and hands the spoon to her.
"Okay now we need to put a timer on for 40 minutes" Tom says putting the batter into the oven.
"Now we just have to wait" Lilly says putting the dirty spoon in the sink and going to sit down on the couch. soon after Tom decided to pick up a book and join her.
Audrey's apartment
Audrey decided it would be a good idea to stop by at her husbands office. She got dressed and put her shoes on.
"Okay I'm ready" She says as she walks out the door and into her car.
20 minutes later
Audrey had finally arrived at the office and got out of the car. She walked into the lobby and decided to say hi to the receptionist.
"Hi marie!!" Audrey says smiling at the young receptionist.
"Oh hello Audrey!! may I ask why you're here?" Marie responds.
"I just wanted to visit Atlas. He's been so busy I've just wanted to make sure everything's okay" Audrey says.
"Alright, well he's in his office" Marie says.
