Shido was on his way to school after dropping Kotori off.
Shido was almost at school but then a pure red special quake appeared and out of the crater was a skeletal demon with tan bones being held together by blood red flames.

Inferno then summoned the cursed sword Soul Edge.

DEM industries was alerted to the appearance to a new spirit.
Inferno approached Shido and began swinging Soul Edge at him.
Shido: Hey, what the hell are you doing?!
Inferno: RAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Inferno swung Soul Edge once more and it managed to hit Shido.
Ellen appeared in an attempt to kill the new spirit.
Inferno turned it's attention to Ellen and began attacking her.
Ellen: Oblivion, you will surrender or i will kill you.
Inferno: GRAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Inferno delivered a powerful swing with Soul Edge that the shear force from the swing sent Ellen flying into a building.
