rising above love (mike wheeler x reader)

Starcourt

ok so this is where eleven starts coming in the story. 

Long timeskip- 

Me and mike are 13 now. This new place Starcourt Mall just opened. Mike had met a girl in the forest. Her name was eleven but we call her el. She has this power called telekinesis. it's cool. She can do ANYTHING with it. Mike's older sister Nancy Wheeler, and she older now. She drove us to the mall. "Woah look at this place!" mike yelled. "Cool... Very cool..." eleven said. I asked if mike would mind if me and el go shopping on our own. He was okay with that. We went to this store called the gap. This girl max was there too. She is friends with el, she likes me which I'm glad of cause I heard sometimes she's a bitch. But not everything is true. 

So then el tried this really, REALLY Colorful outfit ON. It looked so good on her. I bought a neon pastel shirt, and a really light pastel skirt. And some white sneakers. We went to scoops ahoy. Where we seen Dustin with these other 2 teens or adults. Dustin turned around and said "OH UH.- Steve this is Y/n and el, don't know who that red hair is-"

Steve said "Ahoy LADIEEEE l/n!!" talking to me. I'm assuming he's trying to hook up with me. I replied "Okay Mr. Ahoy first I have a boyfriend and ik your trying to HOOK UP WITH ME. so it's ice cream or I kicked your ass. " this girl Erica started laughing. So did another one Robin. I know her. Robin Buckley. 

Erica said "hey you 4 NOT YOU HARRINGTON sit down here with me." we went over there. And I'm assume Steve's last name is harrington. Erica gave us 3 scoops of ice cream cones. 

Mike was outside waiting for all of us. Oh I got him a teddy bear and a rose cause why not? I ran outside and handed him his gift. "Aw you got me this?" he asked. "Sure did". I replied. He gave me a tiny smooch. 

Nancy took everyone home. I slept on Mike until we got to his house. He woke me up. "hey we"re home" he whispered. He gave me a back ride and layed me in his bed. Karen came inside and yelled that there were gonna go to the library." MICH.-" she yelled until she was paused by Mike." Mom be quiet y/n is sleeping" he said." Oh sorry well. Me Holly and dad are going to the library in downtown. Don't leave the house okay? " Karen told Mike." Okay mom I got this. " he said.

He then cuddled me on his chest playing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. Nancy came and checked on us when she noticed I was asleep whispering "is she good?" Nancy asked.  "Yep she's good." mike said." Mk. Just make sure she's okay and her mental health is good. " Nancy told him." I will. Thanks sis. " he said. 

I woke up to him crying and I didnt know why. "Hey what's wrong!?" he looked and wiped his tears away. "Nothing" he said. "Mike, don't lie to me. You didn't lie to me when you said you liked me, so don't lie to me now." he replied "I don't want you to ever leave me alone. I got bullied at the mall while you were with el by older kids." he told me. He hugged me and tight as he could and started to cry on me. I hugged him back. "Oh I love you. You know that right?" I told him. "He stared at me and said yes. After a few minutes I realized he fell asleep. So I covered him up. 

The next day. 

I woke up to Mike still around my arms. I started to touch his hair. Too soft. "Hey it's time to wake up"  I said. "h-hm?" mike moped as he tried to stay awake. "It's time for breakfast!"

Karen came in and out down and placed me and mikes breakfast down. We ate. Mike went back to sleep on me.  I wanted to go to the mall with Nancy. So I wrote a note just in case Mike woke up saying "Hey me and nancy went to the mall. Love you" - y/n.

We got there. Usual view we went to. EVERY shop. Even the food court. We put everything inside her trunk. Went to the library. everywhere.. We got back to see mike still sleeping. HE'S SO CUTE WHEN. HE'S. SLEEPINGGG
