I finally get my legs to work. I stand up and my legs tingle everywhere. I reach into my pocket, hoping to pull out my cell phone to use as a flashlight. Nothing.
"This is odd," I think to myself. I know my phone is always there. Where could it be?
"HELP!" I shout hoping someone can hear me.Nothing.
I start wandering the darkness, hoping to find someone, something.
My mind starts racing with fear, but I manage to keep my composure calm and collected. What is happening?
I turn my body to the left and start running in that direction. I don't know what led me to do this. Just a gut feeling.
After running for about 10 minutes straight, I finally see light in the distance. It is an area in the darkness where a singular bulb is turned on. Underneath the bulb on the floor is a chair. It has a note on it.
I start darting for the light, hoping I can find some clues as to what is going on there.
I get very close to the light, it's so close I can almost taste it, and something grabs my leg. I fall to the floor immediately. Darkness is all I see, once again.
I open my eyes, to see I'm in some sort of lab. My arm stings from the needles in them. I trace the line coming from the needle with my hand and see it goes back to a machine.
Why am I hooked to a machine?
"Nice to see you're finally awake," the light-eyed man said to me.
I looked at him, confused. "What do you mean finally awake?"
He ignores my question. "Would you like some food?" he asks.
Who the fuck is this man and why is he offering me food. I need answers, now.
"No, I don't want your fucking food. I want to know who the fuck you are and why the fuck I'm here. I need answers. NOW," I angrily shout at the man.
"Now now dear, relax. You're safe now-"
I cut him off, "Don't tell me to fucking relax you fucking idiot. Answer my fucking questions."
The man sighs deeply.
"Fine, but not now. For now, you'll just have to trust me."
