*Chapter 1* New School, New Friends

*Beep Beep Beep Beep* I instantly wake up and turn off my alarm clock then lay my head down face forward into my pillow. I hear footsteps coming upstairs and assume that it's just mom. "Sweetie, wake up. You don't want to be late on your first day of school." She went downstairs and I immediately woke up. I walked over to my closet and tried to find something nice to wear. I put on a red bejeweled shirt with a leather jacket over it, skinny jeans and black leather boots. I put on makeup, brushed my hair, then went downstairs. My mom was cooking, my dad was reading the newspaper, my little brother Josh was playing with his transformers doll, and my baby sister Kate was playing with her cereal. "Morning mom. Morning dad." I said kissing their cheeks. "Hey, what about me?" Josh said teasingly. "Whatever." I said laughing at him. "Sweetie will you feed Kate for me? I'm kind of busy." My mom said, cooking breakfast. "Sure mom." I said, cleaning up Kate's cereal mess. "Here comes the air plane." I said, making airplane sounds. She threw the spoon at me and she laughed. "Ugh mom!" Oh sweetie. Here." She said wiping the cereal off my clothes. "Thanks mom, but i got to go. Bye love you. See you after school." I said kissing her cheek. "Bye dad. I love u. Come on Josh let's go." I said grabbing my book bag. We walked out the door and the bus was there. We walked onto the bus and i sat next to a brunette with hair down to her hips. "Hey I'm Rachel." She said, putting her hand out for me to shake it. "I'm Taylor." I said shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you Taylor." She said. "Hey um... want to be friends?" Oh my god. Someone ACTUALLY wanted to be my friend?!? "Sure." I said smiling. "Great! Oh and when we get to school, there's someone i'd like to you to meet." Oh um... ok." I was so happy! Someone actually wanted to be my friend! We finally arrived at school and everyone rushed to get off the bus. "So who do you want me to meet?" I asked really excited. "Her." She pointed to a blonde girl whose hair was as long as her mid back. She started waving at us. We walked over to her and Rachel introduced me. "Savannah, this is Taylor. Taylor, this is Savannah." "Hi Savannah. It's nice to meet you." I said, putting my hand out for her to shake it. "Hi Taylor. It's nice to meet you too." She said shaking my hand. We walked inside waiting for the bell ring and that's where it all started.
