Y/N s pov:

The door slams open and then shut, it startles everyone. All of us were gathered in the living room. I was cozy on the couch, Flora and my mom playing dolls on the floor. Plus that creepy old lady whom i didn't know was in the kitchen. A tall, curly haired boy walked in. I genuinely jumped, who was he? The creepy old grandma jumped with joy.

"Miles, darling your here!" He nodded and started to walk away. "Now darling, don't be rude. This is Kate, Floras new teacher. Ohh, and Y/N shes Kates daughter. Now you two get along, you'll have to share a room. I already set up a mattress and you weren't supposed to be back yet..."

He was about to protest but he was cut off by miss old lady again. "Now, show her where she will be staying, ill prepare dinner now." He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand.

Miles' pov:

Great, now i have to be friends with this girl i just met. I guess it wasn't to bad though, she was hot. I lead her toward MY room. "Here, im guessing this is the mattress she put for you. Get comfortable i guess, but just a warning, keep one eye open when you sleep."

She stared at me hard, and worriedly. "What do you not like jokes?" I laughed but she didn't. She rolled her eyes and walked around my room, grazing her fingertips on everything .

Y/N'S pov:

This, ... Miles kid was weird. His sense of humor was interesting to say the least. Although he is kinda hot, like a handsome freakish hot. His room was oddly clean, yet he had spiders crawling around. Although i didn't mind sense i was quit fond of spiders. I even picked one up, his eyes widened.

"Hey, if your gonna touch HIS food, at least give him it?" I confusingly looked at him, "What do you mean you freak?" , The whole freak word kinda slipped out and i feel kinda bad about it... To late i guess, he can deal with it, he knows its true. "Wow, never had someone say that to my face before.." Anyways, he pointed to a large cage and told me to quickly throw the spider in. The sand moved and a huge spider came out and quickly snatched the small spider. "Cool." I said.
