Theseus was cuddling into my side. I can't quite tell if he's asleep or reading my book over my shoulder. It was peaceful for the first time in a very long time. No real worries, Toms is calm and safe, L'whateverburg is leaving us alone, and all the people who normally cause problems on the server are either nowhere near us or not a problem anymore.
Until someone knocked on our door
"who's there dad?" Theseus mumbled
"I dunno bean, let me-"
"Techno? Techno are you home?" Dream yelled from outside.
Toms curled up closer to me, obviously scared. I knew Dream did something to him in exile but he never told me exactly what Dream did. I just know it was bad.
"Go hide upstairs okay? you'll be okay, I'll keep you safe" I whispered to Theseus.

I'm gonna be honest all this has been mostly pre written. The next chapter is the last one I have prewritten to this point so after that expect a lot of fluff as it's all I can mentally bring myself to actively write regarding Technoblade
