As inuyasha was with kikyo everyone was still at the campsite still asleep. Then kagome felt warmer so she looked and seen koga laying beside her asleep.
She started to blush then she thought about inuyasha so she started to look around. Koga got up and looked at kagome and asked kagome "is everything alright." Kagome turned and seen koga look at her and she replied "yeah I'm just looking for inuyasha."
Koga just rolled his eyes and said "he is to busy chasing clay." Kagome looked right into kogas eyes and started to cry.
Koga looked as kagome started to cry so he held her in his arms. "Koga please tell me he is not with kikyo please tell me he isn't." Kagome said. Koga looked down into kagomes sad eyes and he said "kagome don't cry because he is stupid to chase clay he don't see what is right in front of him."
Kagome looked at koga and said "thank you koga." Koga got up and kneeled in front of kagome and said "you want to come to my den for a few days to think and get your minds off of mutt face."
Kagome looked at koga and said "yes that would be best let me write a note for my friends not to be worried about me."
Kagome got up and went to her bag and got a piece of paper and a pencil out and started writing.

Sango, miroku, and shipoo
Something had came up and I need a few days to think about things. Don't worry about me I will be with koga for a few days ok so he will protect me ok so no need to worry

Kagome put the note under a small rock next to her friends then looked at koga and said "ok I'm ready."
Koga picked up kagome and her bag and ran to his den when they got there the other wolf demons were asleep.
Koga took kagome in the back of the cave and there was a room with a fur blanket coverings the entrance. They went in and koga took kagome were fur blankets were on the ground and.layed. her down. "Ok kagome you need to sleep."
Kagome lookes at koga and said "can I ask you something koga?" Koga looked at kagome and replied "sure kagome anything just ask." Kagome started to twist her hair. "Well you told me you needed a place to sleep well why didn't you just here to your den?"
Koga started to blush and said "well..umm I..I just wanted to...umm spend the night with...um you." Kagome looked at koga and said "can you lay beside with me tonight I will feel more safe."
Koga layed beside kagome as she put blankets on him and then layed her head on his chest. "Goodnight koga. " kagome said. Koga smiled and replied "goodnight kagome."
