The untold Story

Athena was almost Eighteen which meant she was almost of the age to move out of her mothers house and finally leave Toronto and finally leave Canada and go to America. It wasn't like Athena had anything or anyone in Canada. Her father left her and her mother only taking Athena's brother with him. Her mother was an alcoholic and disliked Athena because Athena wasn't her view of perfect.

From a very young age Athena learned how to take care of herself and rely on no one. She really didn't have anyone to rely on because her mother couldn't care less about her and she had no father.

When Athena was walking to school she noticed something different about the woods that surrounded her school she started smelling all of these different smells. She was able to hear the leaves crunching under the rabbit's feet as they ran by. It seemed as if everything just faded away and her mind was relaxed and focused on the nature around her.
When Athena arrived at school she felt a sharp pain on her fingers but only where the nail was as if someone had stepped on all of her finger tips. Athena made her way to her locker passing a hallway full of dirty looks towards her. Athena wasn't liked in school by any of the girls and some of the boys because she was very distant and because she was a lesbian. She didn't see the reason for them to feel so uneasy around her because it wasn't like she was going to do anything to them if they spoke a word to her.
Her locker was very easy to see in the crowded hallway because it had the word "homo" spray painted in bright yellow on her locker. Athena frequently came to her locker to find a note or two shoved into it through the ventilation slits at the top. They were usually notes of disgust and mocking her calling her a "homo" and a "gay bitch" There was only one note that fell out of her locker when she opened it. She could tell who wrote it by the handwriting and the heavy smell of cherry perfume which seemed to smell even stronger .The simply read " emo lesbian bitch" in red sharpie marker. The author of the note was Summer Adams the most well known girl in the school. She always made sure she was the prettiest she could be which included wearing mini skirts to impress the boys.
Athena wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone today she wanted to walk up to Summer and claw her eyes out. Athena slammed her locker shut and left for homeroom she still had five minutes before she actually had to be in homeroom but she liked to stop by her only friend Kate's locker. Kate was the only girl in the school that actually talked to Athena. Kate was at her locker fixing her Dark brown hair in the mirror that hung on her locker door. Athena had always kind of liked Kate but never told Kate because she was afraid she would lose Kate and truly have no one. Just as Athena got to Kate's locker Kate had noticed Athena and closed her locker. Kate motioned for Athena to follow her into the girls bathroom where they could talk.
"When are you going to let me fix that hair no do your make up Athena?" Kate said pulling out her makeup bag from her backpack.Kate had always loved Athena's bright red hair and green eyes. The weirdest thing was Athena didn't have freckles at all which was very uncommon. "I don't know." Athena said pulling her hair to one side of her head letting rest on her shoulder. "Something wrong?" Kate said finishing up fixing her mascara, "You seem out of it today." At this point Kate was staring at Athena and Athena was fighting back the urge to kiss her. "I'm ok" she said Really Athena wasn't ok because she had strange feelings and was fighting so hard not to kiss Kate. The feelings were getting stronger and Athena couldn't fight it anymore just as Kate was about to say something Athena grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips. Then Athena pulled her face away from hers but still touching Kate's cheek with her hand. Kate didn't react as Athena expected instead Kate had grabbed Athena's waist and pulled her towards her and kissed her back this time longer than before. They had stopped for a second and looked at each other "Kate I..." Athena started she was interrupted by Kate who pushed her lips onto Athena's pulling her waist to hers.
The sound of the bathroom door opening stopped the two girls Athena knew right away who had walked into the bathroom by the smell of cherry perfume it was Summer who's bottom jaw almost dropped on the floor when she saw who else was in the bathroom " Oh my god!" She said as her eyes widened in shock. Just then the bell for homeroom rang meaning that it was time for everyone to get to homeroom. Summer left without saying a word her heals hitting the floor as she walked out of the bathroom. "guess we should go huh?" Kate said shrugging her shoulders letting go of Athena's waist. "Kate I didn't know." Athena said softly, "I didn't know either until you kissed me." Kate began to pick up her bag and put the makeup back inside of it. "We should go." Athena said touching Kate's shoulder, " Can we meet after school?" Kate nodded in agreement. They both left the bathroom and went their separate ways. Athena couldn't help but worry about Summer catching her and Kate in the bathroom earlier what made it worse was that Summer was in Athena's homeroom.
When Athena arrived in homeroom the teacher wasn't in the room yet so everyone was up and walking around the room talking to their friends. That was until Summer saw Athena walk in Athena could hear Summer telling everyone what she saw in the Bathroom and who she saw in the bathroom. "Homo!" One of Summer's friends shouted, "Lesbian Bitch!" Another one of the boys in the back shouted pretty soon everyone in the room was shouting Gay slurs at Athena. A low growl escaped from Her mouth as she turned to face Summer. "where's your girlfriend?" Summer's friend Ashley called out from the back of the room. Athena's growls grew louder she didn't all she could think about was biting and attacking every single one of those kids. "What the hell is going on?!" She thought , "why is this happening?" Just then that stabbing pain returned but this time on her lower back as if she had a tail. Those images of wolves running through the woods but this time it was one wolf a red one the same color as Athena's hair running and howling. Bit it was running from something and gunshots could be heard in the background.
