A night by the river

The truth

"No! No no no no! No Nemo! Don't touch the but. Boat! Boat! Don't go! No Nemo!" Percy squealed out.
Nico was startled by Percy's outburst.
"Hahahahah! Oh my Hades. Wow Percy just wow! Hahaha you are so cu.." Nico started laughing intensely but that stopped almost as quickly as he had started. Heat rising to his cheeks.
"W-what. Did you say something Nico?" Percy asked completely oblivious as to what Nico had been about to say. Well that's what he thought. Overwhelmed with shock, Nico stumbled backwards, off the beanbag. The screen started to ripple before it dispersed into multiple water droplets.
"P-Percy. W-what's going on?"
"Nico..there's another reason why I brought you out here with me." Percy replied with a muffle, sounding like he was chocking back tears.
"W-what do you mean? Percy?" Nico asked becoming slightly worried and confused.
"A-Annabeth and I, we aren't together anymore." Percy muffled.
Did Nico just hear that? Did he just hear what he thought he heard. Inside Nico started to mental scream with joy.
"O-oh. I'm really sorry Percy. But if you don't mind me asking, w-what happened." Nico inquired with false concern, which he felt slightly bad about.
Percy had hesitated before answering shyly . "I uh...fell in love with someone else..."
"What?! Who?!" Nico blurted out a little harshly and jealously. A cold and deathly feeling surrounded the two of them. But as that happened the river also began to ripple slightly. Percy stayed silently with his head hung low.
"Percy please, you can tell me. I could help. Besides I can't tell anyone cause I have no one to actually tell. Please Percy, I only want to help you.." The younger Demi-God cried out in mental pain and frustration. Yet the son of Poseidon remained silent. Worry began to fill Nico's eyes as he looked at Percy, stunned to find the older male, crying. Never had Nico imagine this happy, adventurous, strong minded and optimistic Demi-God to be crying in front of him.
"I'm so sorry Percy. I shouldn't have come here tonight. I shouldn't even be at this camp. But if you need me....you know what to do." With that the son of Hades stood up and began to walk away.

You idiot Percy! You are so arrogant. He was trying to help you and you blow him off! You ignore him! What kind of friend ignores his best friend. Go and find that boy and put his mind at ease before it's too late. Go!!
Mentally fighting with himself, Percy stood up and sprinted after the younger Demi-God. The young boy was surprisingly fast. But thankfully not too fast so that Percy couldn't catch up.
Percy managed to catch up fairly quickly and took hold of the young teens warm hand. Nico tried to turn around to face Percy, but the water based Demi-God cut him off with a deep kiss. Percy obviously realised Nico would've been shocked, he may have even hated him for this but it was a risk he was willing to take. He couldn't let Nico slip away from him for good this time. However, Percy was more surprised to find the young boy kissing back! What the sensation of surprise was subsided and was over come by longing, need and joy as he found himself moving in perfect synch with the other male. The two Demi-Gods shared the kiss for three mesmerising and unforgettable minutes. Nico rested his head in the junction of Percy's neck and shoulder while his hand was holding softly onto Percy's perfect hair. It felt perfect, Nico's whole body and height just fitted perfectly with Percy's larger frame so that he just melded into him. Like two jigsaw pieces being connected.
"I'm sorry Nico! I really am. And I guess that just answered your question aye.." Percy stated. This time it was Nico who remained silent apart from the sift sound of what seemed like crying.
"N-Nico? Have I done something wrong. Have I..." Percy started but was drowned out by the adorable, laughing Demi-God. Percy was petrified. Was Nico laughing? Percy started to panic, believing that he grade just broken Nico.
Oh no no no. He can't be broken. Oh no, Hades is going to kill me. Or even worse, Hazel will!
"Hahaha. Oh my Hades. Percy, you have no idea how long I've been watching over you and Annabeth. Hating every moment you two we together instead of us. I knew you and I never had a chance...You have no idea how long I have loved you for. And mostly how long I've been wishing for that kiss. Jason or Hazel always said you would give in or something like that. But I never listened, what was the point. But oh Dad." Nico laughed hysterically interrupting Percy's tide of thoughts.
"W-wait. Jason and Hazel knew you liked me. Why didn't they tell me anything." Percy inquired Nico. Nico just looked at Percy with daggers so sharp they could tear apart any persons soul. Even a God's.
"Never mind that...I only have one more thing left. Nico Di Angelo, Son of Hades, will you be my boyfriend?" Nerves began to overrun Percy as he awaited the boys answer.

Was I hearing this correct? Did I just get i asked out by Percy Jackson. Was I just asked, me, Son of Hades to be the Son of Poseidon, boyfriend. My mind just mental screamed with joy yet again.
"Yes yes yes! Yes Perceous Jackson, I will be your boyfriend." Nico squealed with pure delight. Nico jumped into Percy's arm deeper, if that was possible, but it seemed that it was. Percy's arms and muscles were so toned, yet they appeared so gentle but strong as well as protecting. In Percy's arms he felt like no body could touch him.
"So um can we please go back and continue the movie? Please...babe?" Percy pleaded, taking his boyfriends hand gingerly.
"Fine..only because you are really cute when something is about to happen on it. So yeah, we can."
Percy squealed in joy. The son of Poseidon lifted up the younger teen onto his back and made their way over to the beanbags.

The two lay on the beanbags together, watching the movie. Well, one of them was. Nico had fallen asleep in Percy's lap, head resting in the crook of his neck.
"I will always love you Nico. I'm going to watch over you and make sure you are never sad. And if anyone try's to come between us, I'll throw them into the deepest part of the ocean, even Poseidon himself. Goodnight my little Angelo-fish." With that Percy kissed his boyfriend on his forehead and turned off the projector. He waver his hand out in front of him, cause the watery screen to disperse into droplets and fall back into the river. Once he'd done that, Percy dozed off with the younger boy in his lap, hand in hand.
