Chapter 2

Maddie's POV
      I woke up to my alarm going off and me groaning.

I hopped in the shower scrubbing myself with green apple shampoo and washing my hair.

I got dressed in a black off the shoulder sweatshirt and some ripped  skinny blue jeans, and slipped on purple vans. (Outfit on side!!)

I grabbed my iPhone and headed out the door as my mom stopped me.

"Honey, I know you've been seeing him. I don't want you with that boy," She said for the millionth time sighing as I cut her off.

"Mom that's where your wrong. Hunter loves me. He wouldn't leave me. He isn't like dad. Don't do that! You haven't even put any effort to meet him!" I said exasperated, sticking up for my boyfriend.

"That's where your wrong Maddie! I know what those type of boys are like, they tell you they love you and will never leave you then they do." She said convincing her self she was making me believe her.

"Bullshit! That's a lie! You know it mom! Just because dad did that to you doesn't mean all boys are like that!! You should really give up with this speech because it is getting old! Please stop with the whole, they don't really mean it crap! God mom! Can't you just be happy for me? I mean we never thought that I would fall in love! But I have! You just don't want me to get hurt! I'm not going to get hurt!" I said my voice rising.

I just turned and ran out the door tears pricking at my eyes as I saw Hunter standing outside of his truck smiling widely, but frowning when he saw me crying a little.

I hugged him as a tear leaked out of my eye.

"Babe, what's wrong?" He said tilting my chin up wiping the little bit of tears away. "My mom. She won't stop persisting me to break up with you," I said then his face contorted into panic, "But I'm Not Going To!" I Added quickly seeing his face flood with relief.

I pressed my lips to his our lips moving in sync as I broke away from him breathing heavily. "I think we should get to school or we're going to be late." He said chuckling.

I laughed as he opened the passenger door for me.

*At School*

Me and Hunter walked in the school hand in hand as I searched for Hayley getting on my tippy toes because I'm so short.

Hunter chuckled under his breath and grabbed my waist and lifted me up as I laughed looking around for Hayley.

I spotted her, "Hayley! Come here!" I yelled getting weird looks from people but not caring, she looked at me and busted out laughing as she walked over here.

He sat me down and pecked me on the cheek, "Your my special girl, I always knew that there was something special about you, and it is everything about you." He said brushing my hair put of my face to look me in the eye. 

I blushed a little looking down and Hayley made her way over here.

"That was hilarious Mads'!!" She said highfiving me as Luke came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Hey babe, who's birthday is coming up in at least 7 days?" ( my bday actually is in 7 days ) Hunter whispered his lips touching my ear.

"I don't know who's?" I said innocently.

"You. And you can't object I'm getting you a present whether you like it or not." He said tickling my sides a little.

I started squirming so he wouldn't tickle me.

"Oh no you don't. I am going to get you." Hunter said confidently.

I started running around or hobbling, you could say.

I squealed as soon as he got me and started tickling me.

*After School*
      I was walking up to my door with Hunter when my mom walked out the door.

"Not now. Oh please not now." I muttered under my breath.

"I forbid you to see him Maddie," My mom said getting right to the point.

"Stop it with this crap mom. I'm not going to leave him that's final. You can't make me leave someone I love. I have told you this millions of times. I can't do this anymore! I stress because you're always telling me to go in one direction while I'm going in another path that I want to stay on! Stop! Dad is not and will never be like Hunter! You have to admit it!!!" I said going straight to my point.

*smack!*

I felt a stinging on my face. I fell to the ground sitting there stunned. My mom has never put her hands on me. Never. Now she chooses to do this. In front of him.

"I can't believe you mom! How could you hit me? Your own flesh  and blood!" I yelled at her.

"Get out. I want you out. Pack up your stuff and leave. If you don't appreciate what I do for you, then you can walk your ass out the door." She said coldy.

I got up as Hunter followed me to my room and grabbing out my two suitcases. One held my clothes and all of my shoes in it and one held my covers and duvet.

I walked out of the house slamming the door and looked at Hunter as I cried. He pulled me Into him.

"Where am I supposed to go Hunter? I have no family. No where." I said my voice hitching.

"Hey hey," He said tilting up my chin and making me look in his eyes, he looked concerned.

"You can stay with me, my mom wouldn't mind having you around she loves you. You know that. Don't worry." He said then chuckled. "Did I hear you tell your mom you loved me?"

I nodded my head confidently. "Well that's good, because you don't know how much I love you, I love you more than you could ever imagine." He said kissing me as our lips moved in sync his tongue asking for intrance which I gladly accepted.

Then we broke apart breathing heavily as we got into his truck setting off for his house.
