finn was live on instragram, playing some songs on his guitar in front of the camera.

it was 11:51 PM and he's been live for about 32 minutes now. his parents were asleep and his brother nick and girlfriend y/n were downstairs, watching netflix.

y/n was getting bored and wasn't paying attention to the movie they were watching at all. she and nick sat on opposite sides of the couch and all she could think about was finn. she felt clingy, wanting to spend time with him in his room.

she decided to maybe join him on his live just to hangout with him maybe.

"hey, nick." she said to him in a raspy voice.

"yeah?" he turned his head to her.

y/n got up from the couch, slightly adjusting her dress and said, "you should get to bed. it's already 11 pm."

"what about you?"

"i'll go in finn's room already."

"he's still live though."

"it's fine."

nick sighed and turned off the tv, getting up and heading upstairs to his bedroom.

"good night." y/n said loudly so he would still hear her.

"night."

before heading to the stairs, she looked below the coffee table and saw a baby shark headband on the open shelf which she and finn got from a little kid's birthday party in 2018. that kid's probably 8 now. she was 4 the last time they saw her.

y/n smiled, taking one of them and examining it for a bit.

she decided to take it with her upstairs just for fun.

she turned off the lights of the living room and headed upstairs to finn's room. the hallway was dark but she knew exactly where his room was.

she stepped in front of his door and she could hear him playing his guitar from outside.

she smiled, knowing how good and how much he loved to play it.

eventually, she slowly opened his bedroom door where there wasn't actually that much light. one ceiling light was on in the upper left corner of the room and that's it.

he stopped playing his guitar to look over at his beautiful girlfriend like she was the most beautiful girl in the world.

"hey." he greeted her with an instant smile forming on his face.

comments about finn's look to y/n started flooding in on his live.

she smiled back, tilting her head. "hi." she said softly. "i found this under your coffee table." he held up the headband on her pointer finger.

"oh." finn chuckled. "wear it."

y/n put it on and finn giggled.

"is it cute?" she asked.

"it's cute. you're really cute."

"i was talking about the headband." y/n smirked.

"then, it's cute too."

finn quickly glanced at the comments, seeing that everyone wants y/n to join the live.

"they're looking for you."

y/n shrugged. "alright then."

she walked over to the bed, sitting beside finn and he put the guitar aside to let her rest next to him.

y/n laid her back on the pillows while finn was leaning down to read the comments.

he chuckled as he saw certain comments starting to flood in. "they're saying you're pretty." he turned his head to her.

"aw, thank you, guys." she smiled.

"they're not wrong." finn said, laying his back beside y/n's on the pillows.

she looked up at him and just chuckled, visibly blushing that the viewers could see her face getting red.

"well, hi to your sister." y/n said as she read the comments.

"what do you wanna do?" finn asked his girlfriend.

"um..." y/n started to think for a second. "i wanna play music." she got up to get her phone from the desk.

"k." finn mumbled, his eyes following y/n as she walked over to his desk.

she scrolled through spotify to find the song she wanted and started playing "fairy of shampoo" by tommorow x together.

"is that kpop again?" finn threw his head back, his eyes following her again as she returned back beside him on the bed.

"why!? do you have a problem with my 5 korean boys?" she giggled.

"yeah, they're stealing you away from me." he wrapped his hands around her waist.

"aw, c'mon. no one could sweep me off my feet the way you did." she smiled.

y/n eventually started to get sleepy, her expressions started to get sloppy and drowsy and finn noticed when they weren't even halfway through through the song, still only starting yeonjun's rap.

"are you sleepy already?" he asked in a soft voice."

"yeah, but it's fine." y/n mumbled, still her same sleepy look as she listened to the song.

finn scooted closer to her to let her rest on him and she eventually closed her eyes, resting her head on his shoulder.

"alright, um..." finn whispered. "i'm gonna end it right here, guys. have a great day." he quickly smiled and waved at the camera and ended the live.

he closed his phone and slowly got up from the bed to put his phone and y/n's on the desk, pausing her music and immediately going back to the bed with her.

she woke up and noticed what he was doing so she put her body under the covers to make it easier and finn did as well.

y/n turned around, making her back face finn so he can put his arms around her waist.

"thank you, finn. you really make me happy."

finn giggled. "i love you, that's why."

y/n chuckled, turning around to face him. "i love you too, love."

finn smiled, kissing her forehead and y/n buried her head into his neck while his arm remained around her waist and they eventually fell asleep ― together.
