Olive carefully opened her eyes and yawned. "Morning sleepy head." Her mom had a bright smile and a baby on her hip. "Get dressed please, then come eat." Anne unplugged her daughters phone and handed it to her. "Thanks mama." Anne smiled again before walking out.
Olive stood and brushed through her hair. Before packing her bag and putting her cheer uniform on. She peered in the mirror looking herself up and down carefully. With a sigh she headed over to her dresser.
She put her hair in a half up half down with her bangs out. she put on some jewelry and headed out of her room.
"Your pom poms are by the door, don't forget them please." Her mother informed her while she placed two pancakes on a plate. She cut some into pieces for the kids. "thanks mom." Olive yawned and sat down to eat. The girl drenched her pancakes in syrup.
The entire family spent about 30 minutes eating their food. "Honey it's almost time for you to go make sure you have everything." Anne spoke as she fed Clementine. "Alright." Olive kissed her moms cheek before looking through her bag.
"Alright i've got it all, i'm gonna leave now love you mama!" Olive went out the door and started walking to school.
"Olive!!" She turned seeing Addison. "Addy? wait did i pass your house already?" Olive looked around confused. "no, no, i went to pick up Zed first." Addison smiled and turned revealing the boy behind her who was deep in thought. "Cmon Zed." She pulled him laughing.
"What's he thinking about?" The three walked into her sidewalk in a row. "Well he's trying to find a way to get us to Prawn or something." She shrugged. Zed turned to Addy. "I litterally just remembered i was supposed to pick up bonzo!" Zed smacked his forehead. "I knew i was forgetting something!" He kissed Addison's cheek before running back to Zombietown.
The two girls laughed as they walked. "Of course he forgot something." Olive had a cheeky grin on her face. "Don't act like you don't forget anything Ma'am." Addy pointed at her. Olive gasped. "I never forget anything!" She crossed her arms. "What about the 8 times you forgot your homework, the 4 times you forgot your Ipad, or even the 5 times you forgot your pom poms!" Addy smiled and olive made a face. "Ok ok maybe i forget SOMETIMES." She rolled her eyes and Addison giggled.
The two walked into the busy school building. After about 30 minutes Zed joined them in their conversations. Bonzo had band. "I really thought we'd all be at the prawn together, i thought seabrook had changed." Addy frowned. "it did! Believe me i will find a way to get us to the prawn." Zed looked at her as Olive just third wheeled.
"Or we could miss it together." Addy smiled at him. "No way i'm not letting you miss the prawn." He fired back.
"If you cant go i'm not going!" "I like you too much not to let you go." "Well, i like you to much to leave you behind, i'm SO not going!" Addy put her hands on her hips. "You two even fight like a perfect couple." Eliza came around the corner. "Tell me about it." Olive yawned after saying this. "Hey liza! how's it been going?" Addy laughed. "You know fighting injustice is making me busy." She shrugged. "And looking good doing it zombaeee." Addison giggled lightly.
Olive blocked out the rest of the conversation. She was tired and it showed. I'll put on some concealer in a bit. She was brought out of her thoughts by Lacy's annoying voice.
"Uh Addison When we are captain you are so off the cheer team." Lacy flicked her ponytail back. "And when i'm captain you'll be welcome to stay because ill be making cheer about bringing people together." The three Acys laughed. "That was awful trash talk." Stacy snickered. "It wasn't trash talk it's called being nice." Olive put her elbow on Addisons shoulder. "You'll never be cheer captain freak."
Olive and Addy followed Stacy and Lacy. "Bye." Addy frowned. "Ugh bye guys." Olive groaned at being with these two.
The principle was talking about high-fives, and the president. The band started to play which interrupted her. That was the cheerleaders que.
They began to shake their pom poms and scream loudly, splitting into two to let bucky through. "Oh that was go-" The principle offered a high-five but bucky swerved her. Olive laughed.
Bucky spoke and Olive noticed Bonzo glancing at Bree. She assumed Bree noticed too because Bonzo got flustered and accidentally knocked down Zed. He rolled down the stairs and then climbed by the podium. "Wooo! Zombie strong!" Zed yelled from the podium.
"Zed cant steal my spotlight! what about the whole zombie law thing?!" Bucky whined. "Anyone can run for president Bucky!" Addy yelled before letting out a 'Woooo!'
"She actually has a point Mr.Bucky." "Really?!" "Yes." And with that the principle walked back to where Olive could no longer see her. "Ok if you will for me, i will bring you prosperity and awesomeness!!" The entire crowd of students cheered.
Zed continued talking about the things he would do as President. "As your president i will make Seabrook a place that embraces Zombies and-" "Werewolves?!" Bree screamed pointing. "Uh no why would we- WEREWOLVES!" Zed screamed making everyone panic.
Olive and Addy stood in front of the podium holding onto eachother. "There she is!" One of them pointed in their direction. "Football team defense! C-24 right!" Zed pointed in front of Addison.
"Where is the moonstone white hair?!" The same one that pointed yelled. "I-I think you've got the wrong person." Addy was confused. "Our sharp claws will gut them and splatter their blood!" The girl with buns showed her claws.
Olive's eyes went wide and she clung to Addy. "Too much?" The girl asked. Olives eyes were still wide. The two at the front whispered something. "Wolves stands down, sorry we werewolves so admire your town and we came her to..join your school!" The leader smiled showing her fangs.
"Technically the forbidden Forrest is within the school district..." The coach slightly mumbled. "Well then welcome to Seabrook. Addy walked forward Accidentally dragging Olive with her. Olive let go of her and gave her a look. Addy just giggled
Olive was in class while all her other friends were passing out flyers for Zed. Class was finally over and Olive was ecstatic. "That class is awful." She walked to her locker and heard screaming as the wolves walked in. "These sheep just let us in? Bahhhd idea." The leader smirked. The boy beside her spoke "We agreed we would play nice." He sort of nudged her. "Oh this is me being nice." She began to scratch lockers ending right beside Olive.
Olives eyes went wide as they walked by. She wasn't scared, just surprised. I mean cmon she just scratched a bunch of lockers. Olive hurried to get her stuff before she headed off to class.
