Chapter 3 - staring contest

Matt looks up from his phone as he is startled by the door opening.
He sighs and gets up to leave, "Matt, come on just stay for a bit" chris says, trying to lighten the mood.

" fine", he replies, and sat down on the edge of the bed again.

I knew we weren't friends but he's never treated me this bad, we've always just stayed away from each other, but he's acting different to usual.

Nick dares me to a starting competition, I agree and prepare.
I'm finding it hard towards the end but am good at these, so I hold on.
Matt looks over as the room is silent for a good 15 seconds.
" what you guys doing?" He says
"Their doing a staring competition" chris replies and me and Nick don't stop.

Nick is good but I know I'm going to win.

"Nick will win" I hear matt say, though know Nick will crack any second.

YES! I win!!!

"What do you say to that Matt?!" I say
To which he rolls his eyes and goes back to his phone.

"If your so confident then you do it against Y/N!" Chris says,

"Fine, but I'll win" he says
"I don't know about that" I reply.

He comes to the end of the bed and we look up into each others eyes...

"3,2,1...go" Chris says

It was kinda awkward since yk, were enemies and I could feel bad tension between the two of us, but I carried on, I couldn't loose to him.

- MATTS POV-
She challenged me to a staring competition, which I knew I would win, so I agreed. I moved to the edge of the bed so we could tell who broke when they did.

"3,2,1...go!"  Chris says
I look up into her eyes, fuck. There beautiful.

We were staring into each others eyes for about 20 seconds as Nick and Chris watched closely between mine and Y/N's eyes, to see if either of us blink.

It was getting really hard by now, and was awkward. Her eyes were swollen beautiful though. Without our eye contact breaking, my eyes scanned around her features.
I'm feel myself breaking... any second!
