After a while I was really drunk so I asked Dan to take me home. When we pulled up in front of my house I told him thank you and made my way up to my front door. Before I could even touch the door knob, the door was pulled open and Lance was standing there with pure Anger in his eye. He yanked me inside and pinned me up against the wall.
"Where the hell were you and why the fuck are you dressed like a whore?"
"I was at a party with Lexi"
"I told you to stop hanging out with her and I also told you that if I find out you are hanging out with her again that there would be serious consequences. Now didn't I ?"
"yes sir" I choked out. I could hardly breath. All of a sudden I felt something hard hit my jaw and I started screaming. He kept punching me in the face and stomach. He let me go and I fell to the floor. He started kicking me and then he pulled me up by my hair and punched me again. Then I heard the door being forced open, I turn to look at the door. Dan and the Police came running in and Lance drops me. Dan came running towards me and picks me up bridal style. He carries me out and sets me down on a bed and then I black out.
Dan's P.O.V.
After she got out of my car, I watched her leave. Before she could even open the door, a man opened it and yanked her inside. I got out of my car and walked to the front door and heard screaming and crying.
I ran back to my car and called the police. I told them what happened and what I heard. After I got off the phone I waited a good 5 minutes before they showed up. We ran up to the house and banged on the door. We waited a couple of minutes before they kicked the door down. When I walked in to the house what I saw broke my heart. She was laying there with cuts and bruises all over her body and she was barely awake. I ran up to her and carried her out to the ambulance. As soon as I lay ed her down she fell asleep. When we got to the Hospital, I called Lexi.
" Hello "
" Hay Lexi, it's Dan "
" Oh hay Dan, whats up "
" I was just calling to let you know that Annie's in the Hospital "
" Oh my god, what happened "
" After I took her home her dad beat the shit out of her and I called the cops and they brought her to the Hospital "
" Oh my god Dan Thank you so god damn much "
" yeah any time see you soon"
After I got off the phone with her, the Doctor came out of her room. I ran up to him and he told me that she has some cracked ribs and was badly beaten and cut. He told me that she was still asleep but I could go and see her if I want. I told the Doctor thank you and ran to her room. As soon as I could see her room I slowed down. I opened the door ad almost started crying. She was hooked up to a bunch of wires and machines. I went to sit next to her and held her hand and kissed it. She started waking up and when she saw me she started crying.
Hay whats wrong?
I'm scared
Why are you scared?
Because what if they let him go? He's going to come looking for me and kill me.
I won't let that happen
She just stared at me like I was crazy.
" I've been wanting to ask you this but I was afraid you would say no, but I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend? "
She started to smile and nods her head yes. I was so happy that I grabbed her head and pulled her face towards mine and smashed our lips together.
