Holo Exam

After two whole months of training with aunt Ryuko, I finally finished and, paired with my grandad training, am now a master of swords, shields, bows and bo staffs, and I have improved my fitness massively. I can now also use Nejire's quirk quite well when I can see her using it, but when she's not around, it doesn't quite work well.

I also managed to set up a hologram training room with my grandad's help. It allows me to focus on training when there was no one around to help. I had just finished setting up when Aunt Ryuko walked in

Ryuko "so how will this help you train"

Y/N "Well, I only have a few days left until I have to go in and train with the other recommended students, but this will allow me to practise fighting a large group of people."

Ryuko "okay, but it's a hologram. If they hit you, it won't affect you?"

Y/N ''yes, me and Grandad discussed that at length I'm gonna make a costume that reacts to the hologram touching it and then making it, so it reacts to being hit. I haven't found a way to get a mask working, but we have a full body suit."

Ryuko "interestingly, this could be really useful for other heroes and training."

Y/N "yh maybe we'll see how it goes with me first"

Ryuko "well, this all seems interesting. How about you give me a demonstration."

Y/N "thought you'd never ask, the observation deck is through the door over there *points to the right* there's a bottom floor that analyses everything as well as a top floor to just watch"

Ryuko "thank you, Y/N good look."

She walked up to the top deck and then nodded

You swipe your hand over your left eye and active your visor to blue mode and a red and gold bo staff, a weapon you fell in love with while training

Y/N ''active level 1. Increase level every 1 minute"

Mechanical voice " 3 2 1 begin."

5 blue figures appear around the room as you just take action. Taking them out without taking a hit level one was quite easy with the holograms not moving. As the level progressed, the holograms would get harder, with more movement, quick and smarter thinking as well as getting weapons. We join back as Y/N slams down the final bot of level 17 breathing heavily and slightly

He turned around to see 20 more had spawned in and just dodge a lessor that whizzed past his fact Y/N expertly dodge his way through the enemies taking out as many as he could he kept this up to level 20

Mechanical voice " level 20. 1st boss. Can you face yourself"

A hologram appeared looking the same as Y/N, just black. The hologram adopted the same stance as him and as they classed Real Y/N felt like he was fighting a mirror every move he used was counted and was being forced on defence Y/N had to think quickly as he pierced together what was happening. Jumping backwards he slammed his bo staff into the ground and boost him backwards give plenty of distance, and when he landed the bost staff was gone and replaced with a sword and shield rushing quickly, he attacked relentlessly forcing holo Y/N back and not giving him room to attack. The hologram then used the same trick Y/N to make space, but Y/N knowing what was about to happen rushed in and tried to slice the hologram but was too late and because he was so aggressive was now left wide open for an attack which connected and would have been enough to kill him if it wasnt a hologram ending the challenge

Mechanical voice "New high score level 19. Would you like to play again"

Y/N "no"

Mechanical voice "okay, shutting down"

Ryuko "interesting. You did well for a first attempt and adapted well. Just got a little over-aggressive at the end there."

Y/N "yh I know I thought I could get him through"

Ryuko "which is okay in training but in real life, that would cost you your life."

Y/N "eh as long as I saved the person."

Ryuko "heroes don't trade lives Y/N. We protect everyone, and we cant do that when were dead."

Y/N *silence*

Ryuko "you should rest. Nejire will be here later today I'm sure you'll be sparing again"

Y/N "aye"*walks to the elevator*

*one week later day of the recommendation exam*

You do a quick workout on the treadmill. After this you take a quick shower and put on some fitness clothes. He leaves his room to find the driver he met on the first day waiting for you. You get in the back as he drives to UA as you're get out, you finally speak "thanks"

Driver "you very welcome, master L/N; your aunt wishes you luck. I'll be down the road when you're done.

You nod and walk to where the exams are taking place. You enter a small room to see a few people waiting. About 15 of them don't look that impressive apart from a guy with red and white hair. A girl that looks like a lizard as well as a one of them who could probably pass for an adult.

They all look at you as you enter. A group of girls continue talking anc you take your seat at the back of the class. Once seated a pro hero snipes walks in and explains that this part of the exam is written and there are 5 parts to be done in 2 hours. Japanese, Maths, Englishs, Hero Work, Battle Work. that The last two are our chance to show what we know about the hero world and how to fix problems as well as allow them to understand our quirk better as we should write about how we use it. After handing out the paper he lets us begin

Once finishing that which I think I smash we move onto the practical part of the test, its most running obstacle course as well as using our powers in different ways. I finish top for most of them however I can feel my sugars start to drop as we push on. I take a drink from my water bottle as I watch everyone else try using the quirk to get from one area to the other without touching the ground. Everyone seems to be doing well. Sighing i swipe my left hand over my gazer and it turns to my red for and i feel the boost in me and continue the day

After the long day i finally get home as Nejire and Aunt Ryuko leaving for hero work

Nejire "how did you do? Did you do well? Did you use my power? I bet you smashed"

Ryuko "now now Nejire give the poor boy a chance"

Y/N" sugar...shower...sleep"

Nejire pulls a chocolate bar out of... and hands it to you, blushing slightly you take it and eat it

Y/N "Thanks but why did you have that one you?"

Nejire "oh that's a secret but i always have one on me when we spare"

Still blushing Y/N "ahh thanks i'd hate to hold up your patrol i'll talk to you later"

Nejire "Bye!"

Ryuko *giving a side hug as you walk past* "I'm proud of you regardless and so would she. Well done Y/N"

Y/N "Thanks Aunt"

And with that you go to your room and take a shower before going to sleep you wonder what the school will be like

Sorry for the short chapter as well as the long break. Real life has been catching up with me abit but i promise i'll try be more consistent in the future. Next chapter find out if Y/N makes it unto U.A...
